We were visiting on the Cape for a week and needed to be seen on short notice. VCA Hyannis fit us in next day, and we had a wonderful experience. Everyone from the front desk receptionists to the nurses and technicians and veterinarians went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for.Our exam with Dr. Zelman was very thorough, follow-up was great, and you could feel every person in the practice trying to deliver the best possible care for patients and owners. We also got to meet a very sweet puppy lab (what's up Benny!)There's also just great vibes here, and everyone clearly loves their jobs. Especially when we walked in as a new patient after the July 4th Holiday. The intake was fast, and as soon as the front desk realized we were there for a potentially urgent issue, they moved very quickly to get us seen. It really made a difference for us. We highly recommend them and will return if we ever need care on the Cape again. Thanks for a great visit!

Have been bringing our furry family members here since 2008 on the recommendation of friends and peers. The care is outstanding and the compassion shown to our animals and us is 2nd to none when the end is near. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a vet in the Mid Cape area.

I would give them an minus 10 if I could. During covid they did tests on my cat, chaged me $350, and never gave me the results, even after I complained. Took a new pet in and they redid heartworm and distemper shots which had just been done a month prior. Hope the double dosee isn't dangerous. They now have a web portal where supposedly you can access documents, appointments, pet profile, but its useless. It can take 5 minutes for a page to come up, often timing out, and then there is nothing there. Their prescription costs are fair - only about 15% more than what you would pay to buy them directly. But they are just a mess. Until they can get their act together I recommend going to a smaller vet where you can establish a relationship with a doctor instead of getting a different MD each time, and only use them if you have no other choice in an emergency.

They have been my vet for Many, many Animals over the decades for myself my mother, and my sister when they were both still walking the earth. They are very compassionate and caring. I had a sick cat that got out when I was there in December and I spent four days and nights before I could catch her. They were very helpful in checking traps and they always checked on me when they came in and left their shifts. Our personal vet, Dr. Lane, Is incredibly caring, compassionate, and has a great understanding of how pets think and feel. They are good for helping out an emergency situation as well.

My dog is extremely challenging and they have worked with him in every way possible to meet his veterinary needs. I couldn't love them more.

We brought our 2 cats there today for annuals and everyone we came in contact with were friendly, efficient and professional. The place is spotless, very nice practice. Dr Lear was great, first visit with him and it was like he knew us forever.

My Cat had her big girl surgery. Dr. Gifford, Sarah the angel tech, the receptionist, the people in the waiting room... too many to mention were absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable staff and will sit and answer questions for days if you need. 5 Stars all day.

The staff and doctors at VCA are the best!. they truly care about your pet and treat your pet like it's there own. Dr. jesse lane has been treating out pets for awhile now and she is so good with them, they all are. we moved off cape and live in Middleboro now but feel the drive for this kind of service is worth it.

I came here today for a second opinion on my cat Salem. The first place we brought him did nothing for him, said he was going to die of infection in a week, gave me a referral to a place 3 hours away that wouldn't take him and we left feeling like our cat was going to die.

We just recently moved to the Cape, and had to transition to a local vet. My 10 1/2-year-old Boston Terrier is very finicky when he comes to his doctors, and he loves everybody here. We have had to go in for emergency appointments, his annual, they are wonderful. The vets here definitely go above and beyond to care for your dog. I see them handling every pet with care. I would highly recommend Hyannis Animal Hospital!

Our dog is very anxious about vet visits and gets incredibly reactive during exams and shots as though he's going through a life-and-death situation. This makes every vet visit difficult (and pretty scary) for everyone involved. I have never seen someone handle our dog with as much skill, heart, and confidence as Dr. Lear did. While I don't expect most dogs to be as difficult as ours, I'm so grateful to Dr. Lear and his team for being willing to work with our tricky pup.

My families new pup Chosen has had a pretty rough start in life. He has had 2 separate leg injuries already and is less then 6 months. Thank you Dr.Smith and staff for being so unbelievably loving and kind to Chosen. Dr.smith contacted me through out the day to inform me how he was doing (on his day off). The nurses treated him like there very own. I would highly suggest sending your 4 legged family member to see Dr. Smith and staff for any type of medical needs. Thanks again Dr.Smith

Thank goodness for Dr Gifford. We travel all the way from Western MA just for our dog to get treated here. Thanks for being so caring and compassionate.
