I was in today with my friend! When I went to check out at the register I was told I owe 59 dollars(white tags were 50% off today). I thought it was too much (considering I had a few white tag items) but my toddler was getting impatient so we just left.I also find it odd that they ask if you want a receipt (no need to ask, everyone need to to be given a receipt by law). Anyway, went back home and decided to do the math and sure enough I was overcharged by $12.I’d think it was an accident but my friend was overcharged $10,too!My advice is do the math before you go to the register,it seems like a regular practice to overcharge people! Also the receipt I was given only shows the total and doesn’t list the individual items,so I can’t even go back and prove I’ve been overcharged!

They have some good stuff but a few times I’ve been overcharged. They always ask you if you want your receipt and only give you the one with the total amount on it (unless you ask for the one with the price of the each item). Today i’ve spend $57 but when i got home it turned out that I’ve had to pay $47 instead… That’s not the first time that this happens!!! So check how much you’re supposed to pay before you go to the cashier and always ask for your receipt!!!

Not a bad little store. I did have a few good finds. Before spending a ton of money, check out places like this.

Typical of this kind of shop, but larger than most on the Cape, and better quality than many. Fun!

I found a fabulous dining set (Hitchock table with two leafs plus 4 chairs, all with lovely decorative accents) and a matching coffee table, paid $200 for the whole set. The staff was super helpful and friendly, it took me a couple trips to get it all home and they were so nice and helped me load up my car each time. I will be going back for sure!

Horrible store. Was there on 6/9/23 and the young guy working started shouting at people the store was closed at 4:55 and at 4:59 started swearing under his breath while going up to individual customers raising his voice demanding that they leave and using threating language such as "you need to leave right now" and "now means now". All of this before 5:01. I worked retail for about 10 years and I get it's really annoying when people are there after close but that behavoir this ridiculous.

Great prices, you can walk in on a Wednesday when a majority of the store is half price and pop a bunch of tags for super affordable prices! I got two cute barely used blouses and a pair of shorts for $7.50 total and the staff is decent! Wish I had closer access I’d be here every Wednesday ?

This review is also just for donations. I think maybe the award-winner for "unfriendliest person in a customer service role" mentioned in Allyson M's review (someone who had been working in Hyannis? It sounded from her review like there were two stores/donation locations but I think maybe they actually moved) now works at the West Yarmouth store. This guy is downright pathologically negative & nasty. The first time we came in to donate, he was closing the door to the donation area at 4:25 (they now, as of 9/5/22, stop taking donations at 4:30) and I walked up to ask him to wait a moment while my husband drove around from the opposite side of the building, where GPS had sent us. He literally started cursing at me and asking what was wrong with us that we couldn't figure out how to pull in to the correct entrance. He was so abusive, I thought he was kidding. He wasn't. When we pulled out some chairs, a super nice, cheerful guy with a beard appeared (I didn't ask his name but he seemed like a manager.) I was friendly back but commented how his colleague seemed a bit cranky, to say the least. He went inside. When Mr. Nasty came back out to help move the chairs, he was totally different. Almost comically friendly in a way that was clearly unnatural to him, commenting on how nice our chairs were & saying he hoped we'd be back to donate more! When we did return, about a week later, he couldn't possibly have been any nastier, again. This guy was obviously called out on his bad attitude the last time, but he didn't get it & he didn't change. In any case, I won't be back to this store. We have a house full of furniture but will find someplace else to donate it. This guy needs emotional & psychological help, not a job interacting with the public. This is not a good sign about how the Salvation Army operates to help people. This disturbed man is not getting the help he needs & seems to have been put in a position to turn people off & create a lot of unhappiness with people who want to donate & maybe do some good. Whoever reads this from this store will definitely know who I'm talking about. I hope they are in a position to do something constructive with this feedback.

Wish there were more tags off on each day like in my store in Upstate, NY. And wish they had more jewelry. But friendly staff and I found some nice items.

It's my favorite thrift shop on the Cape. They are so nice, it's always a pleasure. Even without a \"score\" it is worth the visit.

This review is for donation drop off only. As of February 3, 2022 current donation drop off hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10 AM-2 PM. Direct phone number is (508) 771-0307. The ladies who answer the phone are so helpful and informative. Very friendly I am doing a serious purge of my house and all 3 times I've come to drop off my donations, I was greeted by Don. I had arrived just a few minutes past the donation window at about 2:10 (not knowing it cut off at 2, I thought it stopped at close which was 5). Don was nice enough to take my donations anyway and inform me of the hours and days for the future. He was very helpful despite me being late. The next two times I came I felt like I was seeing an old friend. He and another gentleman named Bob work the donation door and are simply lovely each and every time which is a MAJOR difference from the Hyannis Goodwill location, whose donation attendant may be the unfriendliest person I've met in a customer service role! So I drive the extra 10 minutes every time just to give this location my goods. I love leaving in a great mood which was the opposite case with Goodwill. Thank you Don, Bob, and manager Luke for doing such a great service to the community by being wonderful people and helping those in need. Great guys working for a great cause! **Currently, they do not take stuffed toys or pillows/pillow inserts of any kind. **They DO TAKE pillow shams, however.
