Very poorly done dip manicure. It was done by a young teenage guy who had no experience with the method and was more interested in watching soccer. He used the wrong products and there was minimal cure time used between coats. A week later the lacquer was completely popping off my nails like they were fake nails. I won’t return and definitely don’t recommend. Big waste of money.Service: Gel manicures

Treated very rude. Last 2 visits I was told "we too busy right now, you come back later" (exact words). Came back next morning and was told the same things. No offer of good time to come back, no apogy, nothing. I have been going here for years and felt very bad when I left. Well, I found a much better place nearby. Nice people, newer, cleaner, very happy with them! I will not be coming back!!!

I booked appointments for my daughter and myself a few days in advance before we left for spring break this year. I had never been to Ada Nails but was referred by friends. When I called I asked about pricing for mani/pedi with gel and the person on the phone said $50 for mani/pedi.I asked twice about the gel for both and she said $50 both times. We arrived for our appointment early and they took us back 10 minutes late. Both of us felt rushed through our pedicures as in they were racing to get us done as fast as they could. I was finished and they took me over to the side for my mani and my daughter sat there for 20 minutes alone in the chair waiting for someone to polish her toes as her person left her to go do someone else. Finally someone did her toes and then they brought her over for her mani. Somehow, we were done at the same time. So basically, they just polished her fingernails and no mani like I had booked for her.Time to pay and they said the total was $170 for both of us. I asked about when I called I was told it was the $50 each and how I questioned it twice. Fine....they were wrong. Whatever. I expected though our hands and toes to last a long time though since it was gel! My daughters nails peeled off before spring break was over. Mine stated peeling off the week after. So within 2 weeks our polish was more than half off. I've NEVER had this happen anywhere else. My toes have had some start to want to peel off as well. So with a tip, I paid over $200 and received some very basic work. Will never go back again. And it's not because of the incorrect pricing quote or the peeling polish....it was the rushing of our appointment times.Services: Pedicures

I went to get a pedi before spring break. I was a walk in and they were super accommodating. I got the basic package to be "easy" and get in and out because I saw they were getting busy. However, the lady I had rushed through my toes so fast and moved me to the dryer so quickly that she didn't even pay attention that she smudge my toes. Both of my big toes were smudge and cracked and she didn't even apply top coat to the one nail. I'm very upset that I spent over $40 on a basic pedi for it to look like crap. I will definitely not be going back.

Cammi has done a fantastic job on my dip. I’ve tried several other salons in the area and I found that my nails lasted the longest at Ada Nails. The pedicures have been great as well.Service: Dip powder

This was one of the worst nail experiences of my life. I usually don't write reviews but this is dangerous. The woman working on my nails kept hitting my skin with the dremel tool. Every time I said ow, it was disregarded. Granted, her English wasn't very good but I assume yelling "ow" transcends language barriers and none of the other employees stepped in. I left the salon with a bloody finger. I doubt they clean their tools between clients so I'm hoping I don't get an infection. On top of poor practices, there were several beetles flying around the salon. At one point she used a fluffy brush (usually used to dust off acrylic powder) to swipe away a beetle. Again, I don't think those get cleaned. I went here based off of Google Reviews being so high. Don't make the same mistake I did.Service: Acrylic nails

Had a great walk in experience here - employees were friendly and nails lasted three weeks. I’ll be back! Did a fun blue French mani.

While it was very clean, and a nice place, my experience was not great. Went with a friend, made an appt for pedi. She got the best treatment. As they got to me, 8 others entered the building. I felt like they rushed thru me quickly. My polish had a huge bad spot so I needed to take it off at home. I was disappointed to say the least. Maybe a fluke, but...

Ada Nails is the best nail salon in Grand Rapids! I have been going to them for years. They do such nice work and are incredibly creative! I always walk out of there with the most beautiful hands and feet. If you have never been to Ada Nails, you definitely should!
