Clift purchased a vehicle from me for there lot and the experience was great rite up until I tried to cash the check. There own bank, old national bank, would not cash their own check and so I wen5 to my bank to find out the did not even sign the check, I then had to drive an hour and a half to get a signature. I asked if because of this they could just cash the check and they refused. Hopfully the dealership will consider using a better bank or may risk losing buisness.

Beware of false/misleading advertising from this dealership regarding used cars. On April 10, 2023 I purchased a used 2022 Tesla Model 3 from Clift Auto in Adrian, MI. The car was publicly marketed as never having been in an accident and having had only one previous owner. The sales representative also told me on at least 2 occasions that the vehicle has never been in an accident and only had one owner. On June 12 I brought the vehicle to the Tesla Service Center for evaluation of the steering problem. I was informed by them that “we found your vehicle has been in an accident” . Tesla also reported to me on June 19 that “we can tell the vehicle hit something underneath in the front” . They also reported that “a used left half shaft has been installed on the vehicle” indicating that some type of repair had been attempted on the vehicle prior to its sale to me. Again, this was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. They also noticed a non-Tesla metal bolt had been placed on the left underside of car, suggesting there had been structural damage to vehicle that was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I was also able to discover that the “one previous owner” was Hertz and that the vehicle was used as a rental vehicle. This was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase.*******Although the "response to the review" states someone from the leadership team will be reaching out to me.... NO ONE from the dealership has reached out to me to address these deceptions.

I had a very bad experience with them 1st I had my car towed to the shop then I had to drive up there because they claimed they couldn’t jump my car. So my husband and myself went up there jumped the in under one minutes. Then we received a call about two hours later saying they took off the part on the wrong side and expected us to pay for it when we bought our own part which clearly was for the right side. They ended up taking care of the the left side for free because it was their mistake. But then we received two more messages that they had broken the tire studs. At this point am heated because their excuse was, it was rusted that case more of them would have broken off. And of course we are expected to pay for it which was another $168.04 terrible I promise I won’t bring another vehicle up there for service.

Other than it took 3 hours to get a new set of tires put on, it was great. They do price match on cost of tires which is awesome.

I would not recommend taking your vehicle here for any kind of service. I took my vehicle in for just an oil change and tire rotation. As usual they check your air filter and cabin filter. Which they said needed to be replaced. I told them no that I would take care of it . They said okay and a few minutes later they said my vehicle was ready. As I drove off the motor sounded a little different. When I arrived at my destination I popped the hood and found they didn't screw down the air filter case . Took it back the next day the lady that checked me in originally said she was so sorry. She got a mechanic to come out and screw it down. The next day I decided to change both filters. Well the mechanic only screwed in only 3 screws became the others were missing. So they never told me hey you're missing a few screws . So I put a new filter in tightened the screws that were there and took it back to them . Will the lady that checked me in originally said yeah I knew they were missing. My question was why in they hell didn't you tell me then ? I got another I'm sorry. She got the mechanic to put screws in that were missing. So I decided to talk to the owner of this dealership. Again I got an I'm sorry. Its pretty funny that when you take your vehicle into a dealership they take all these pictures of your car to cover their ass . I think they should start taking pictures of the area they are working on before and after. So my ass is covered especially if they can't do the job right. So I'm not sorry but don't take your vehicle there unless you take your pictures before and after . And this was just an oil change.

*** when purchasing new vehicle: first salesperson gave me 'up price' on trade in. second salesperson not so devious.*** when quality of new vehicle had issues (Under warranty) everyone (Toni & Taylor) were helpful and courteous.

Service and technician communicated through the whole process and kept me informed on the repairs to my car. The repairs were exceptional and my car was safely returned by the two awesome drivers who picked it up and delivered it back to my house. Thanks to you all, I have always trusted you with the work on my car and once again did an excellent job.

I feel pretty dumbfounded for recommending people to take their vehicles here because I thought they treated customers right. I asked for a ball park estimate on a repair which they gave me over the phone but they urged me to get a diagnostic check done on it to make sure they worked on the right part. So I agreed, they diagnosed it and told me what needed to be replaced and I had them do that repair. I get my car back and I have the same exact issue. Bring it back the next day, they look at it again and tell me it's gonna cost $2000 for something else. I literally threw away $250+ on a repair that did nothing for my car. I will never recommend Anyone get anything done here again.

Jamie took great care of explaining what would be done and kept me updated on the status. He took care of contacting the warranty carrier to see what charges were covered . All his due diligence was greatly appreciated.
