Well, at one time, this area was hopping. Today.not so much. I guess I had my hopes set to high . Being the antique capital of michigan, I was I little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty to choose from in about 5 different buildings, but it seemed like each building had the same exact stuff but placed in different places. There was a little restaurant with a VERY LIMITED MENU. but they had the best damn cheeseburger and fries I've had in a very long time. All in all, it was a decent half day. Very friendly people

It had been a couple of years since I poked around. I found some treasures. And some real bargains thanks to several booths with clearance sales

Love this Antique shop! They have a great mix of vendors. It's easy to walk through. It's very organized. I have found some great values here! I make a point of coming here when I visit Michigan.

VENDORS BEWARE. The vendors have great items but the customer service is absolutely horrible, unkind and so rude. 2 older ladies cost vendors so much in sales. Can tell no commission by way treat customers. They will not reach out to vendors no matter how much you have from that booth. Booth E13 lost out on at least 50.00 from just me because they refused to reach out about an item without a tag that was hanging up with everything else I had. I understand no tag no sale. I do. But I don't understand not being willing to try to identify the item of they have an idea of where it came from. I had 5 or 6 other clothing items in my hands and I wasn't done yet. The moment I saw no tag I went straight to the desk and asked for help. The shoulder length gray haired woman seemed angry/annoyed by any questions and genuinely seemed to hate any interactions with anyone. The other older lady with a cain was not pleasant either. They were the same to another group of people as well. Losing those vendors money too. Multiple people pulled their purchases for to them being so unwilling to help. I can see why vendors are leaving this place. They definitely don't care if they make a sale or if they cost their vendors sales. They actually told me that if there is no tag then that is the vendors problem and not theirs. I'm from out of town over an hour away so I don't get to come up often. So putting my name down with the list in found is not really a doable option. When all they would have to do is simply reach out to the vendor and try. Or at least be more kind and act like you care about the sale. This place used to be packed and it seems more and more are backing out. I'm guessing this is the reason. So many other more kind places to put your beautiful items.

A good sized place. Two stories. The bathroom and elevator were conveniently located right inside the front door. The downside to this place is the service was not friendly.

Great place with a lot of bargains, especially upstairs. If you can find something you need, you're not looking hard enough. A lot of the booths have 20, 30, 50, and even 95% off.The upstairs is accessible via stairs or an elevator and worth checking out.Be prepared to spend a few hours there as there a lot of nooks and crannies to explore.

We drove to Allen Michigan with another couple on an antiquing adventure. We had a lot of fun, and there was a lot to look at. So much, that we ran out of time. Wish the stores would be open either earlier or stay open later. Just not enough time to go through everything in one day. But it was worth the 2 hour drive. If you're a treasure hunter, then you need to go....lots of treasures. The Allen Antique Barn was one of the favorites.
