Phil has rebuilt my transmission on two vehicles now. My Nissan Titan and my Ford Transit cargo van. This shop does amazing work and keep excellent communication with their customers. I picked up both my vehicles with smoother transmissions than they where when i bought them new. I have referred several friends to Phil and they have all thanked me for directing them to his shop. They all experienced 5 star service from this excellent business!

I had a problem with my transmission not staying in gear, I went Phil and he knew right away, after a short drive,what one of the problems was and he told me what he does to repair the problem. After he got the transmission out and opened up, he discovered more things that needed replacement, but he never did anything without talking with me first and explaining why I needed those parts.
after they assembled it, he noticed that the torque converter had a few splines that were worn because of previous mechanic not replacing something and he recommend replacing it, but not before he talked with me beforehand.
Phil was also thorough in explaining all the costs with me and giving me a complete price before I picked up my car, very few mechanics do that. Plus his estimates were well within reason of the complete cost.
If you have any kind of transmission problem, I highly recommend taking it here!

Phil really helped me out while in a pickle. I stripped some bolts on my trans pan and brought in to get it fixed. Phil fit me in and got it done in a timely manner. I'd recommend them!

Phil is one of the best gentlemen I have ever dealt with when it comes to fixing vehicles. I put in my 2015 Chevy Silverado with an hour notice he had him and his guys have the transmission and driveshaft done in two days couldn’t believe it after I got the run around for three weeks at a different shop In grand haven with un-certified techs (ztire) Trans Service plus was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend if you have any transmission issue to go the little extra distance out of the tri cities area (grand haven spring lake ferrysberg) to get honest dependable work.
