Alma Community Art Center

Hours: Alma Community Art Center is a great place offering many different art classes and experiences for most ages. It is a nonprofit operation entirely run by wonderful local volunteers. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly. They offer a wide variety of classes, from Pottery 1 to Clay Creations, with no experience necessary. Instructors are amazing artists with lots of knowledge and experience. Classes are fun and well worth the price, with a variety of tools and techniques taught. It is a great place for arty parties, and there are punch cards available—pay for four classes and get one free. You can also purchase art from local artists in their shop. The center believes art changes everything: it educates, enlightens, and opens up a world of possibilities. It is a place where children and adults can get in touch with their creative side, have a fun time, and even discover a new hobby. I highly recommend taking a class.
