Pizza ? Sam's brings back soooooo many wonderful memories for me. When I lived in Alma and St. Louis, this place was an icon. You couldn't out do Pizza Sam's. The decor didn't change in the last 40 years and that's ok. From the swordfish on the wall to the mints on the counter, this place is the real deal.

Always loved the pizza but didn't get any cooking instruction for the take and bake pizza.UPDATE: did eventually find instruction on the website.

This place has been my favorite place to get pizza every since I was 5. The pizza is really unique and so delicious. Personally, I like it better than any other pizza place I've ever been to. Their salads & onion rings are really good too.. I highly recommend trying it. I'm sure you'll love it & so will your kids.

It would be better if you could enjoy a hot pie from the oven, seated inside. Service was never great here, but now you can only eat a hot Sam's pizza in your car.....

My husband’s favorite is the Sam’s Special. Dipping the crust in the homemade French is where it’s at! The ham and pepperoni is phenomenal. Order an onion ring and dip them in the homemade blue cheese I am not a blue cheese fan unless it’s from pizza Sam’s with onion rings to dip. Highly recommend. Great owners, great food, great service.

Just a quick update to my review. This time my pizza was not good. There was so much cheese on it that the pizza itself wouldn't support the toppings. I like a lot of toppings but not to the point where they just run off when you try to pick up a slice.

Stopped in last week for a large pepperoni and D-ham. The pizza was excellent!! Crust had a nice crisp and perfect chew. Toppings were VERY generous. Been eating there for 50+ years. Whether it was Sam, John, or Vinny, the pizzas were/are always consistently excellent!!

Excellent food, it always has been and always will be, 5 generations of my family have been eating at pizza Sam's and I hope another 5 will be able to keep eating there.

I've been going to pizza Sam's since I was 10 years old im 35 now me and my dad used to come visit Sam himself and get pizza and talk about business I cried when he past away I'm just so glad the family has kept his legacy going the city of alma should have a statue of Sam outside the restaurant ? ❤️

We have been coming to Pizza Sam's for over 40 years. When we could dine in, we went alot even though we live in Sanford. Saturday, September 30, 2023, we were in St Louis for 2 of our grandson's football games. We went to Pizza Sam's since we had not had their pizza in a very long time. We got 2 mediums and the toppings were great. But both of the pizza's were badly burnt. It ruined the pizza. Since we live in Sanford, we could not turn around and go ask for 2 more. So please tell your employees to check the bottom of the pizzas before they are put in the box so you don't give a customer a burnt one. It was horrible and we were so disappointed.Thank you and next time we will check the bottom before we leave the restaurant.Connie Holsinger
