I wouldn't say this is a "General Store". It's more like a small bakery that also sells all kinds of meats. They have a few other things like cheese curds and milk.

Every time we go to Alpena, we have to stop and grab sausages and snacks here! We even started bringing an empty cooler with us so we can stock up and bring our favorite taste of Alpena back home!

Good selection of meat with good amount of other than your regular beef and chicken. I believe the meats are all or mostly of local origin.

One of my favorite spots in Alpena! Great boutique grocery store selling meat from locally-raised animals, baked goods, and condiments from Michigan producers. So far I've tried several varieties of their brats, plus some Italian sausage and chorizo. It was all amazing! If you care about buying locally-produced food and supporting businesses in your community, this is where you want to shop!

What a nice place to visit! We enjoyed some donuts from here. Didn't purchase any but there were a lot of meat choices. Really enjoyed talking with the family that owns this place. Check it out if you're in the area!
