“We hosted a birthday party here last weekend and had a great time! Throwing a kid's birthday party in December is tricky given the unpredictable weather and the need to find an indoor, kid-friendly venue that can fit a large group. Thankfully, Domino's Farms Petting Farm made it very easy to schedule and coordinate; I love easy logistics! Speaking of the weather though, the parking lot was very icy which made it difficult for grandparents (and anyone else uneasy on their feet) to steadily traverse. Luckily, as soon as I asked if the gate could be opened for easier maneuvering, Domino's was quick to oblige. Once the party was under way, we had a special visit from a baby goat! It would have been even more fun if the goat was introduced with some fun facts like his name, age, what breed of goat he is, etc. without us having to prompt/shout over 10 extremely excited kids though. That being said, Sunny was a champ with all of them and enjoyed the many carrots the party-goers had to offer. We also got the special opportunity to hold and pet a rabbit (the birthday boy's favorite animal) when we were visiting the animals in the barn. Overall, we really had a great time and can't wait to come visit again when the weather is nicer next spring!”
“Should update you time make sure you arrive before 130 so if your coming from another city it's not a waste of time . They have been very helpful since ive been there last ..”
“I cannot say enough great things about this place. I’ve visited multiple times and always come back. I drive about a hour to come to this store instead of a different location by my house because it is worth it.
Last trip, the staff held a couch for me (very reasonably priced) and we needed help getting it into my truck. After that, we weren’t sure how to use the straps to secure it. A staff member assisted us with our straps and even went to get extra materials just in case we needed more. They went above and beyond to help us and are always so kind. Thank you staff, you are all so wonderful!!”
“Great place to volunteer. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and truly loves what they’re doing. Also the nicest horses I’ve ever met, despite all they’ve been through they’re so happy to snuggle and be pet”

“An amazing organization that advocates for and connects people with disabilities. A resource for people of all abilities. I am so grateful to be on the Board here, and have learned so much about our community, and what is available for my daughter.”
“This is the most pulsating street of downtown Ann Arbor Michigan. There are several gourmet Food&B outlets from every part of the world. We chose a Cuban Burger place...The street was lit up for the Chinese New year adding to the festive look and a University Town energy”
“A nice little bookshop inside the Ann Arbor public library. Smaller than the dedicated stores downtown, but the books are packed tight and CHEAP. A better deal than anywhere else in town.”

“Delivery driver here, did not know where to go ran in a very nice lady named Olivia Setser. Who was able to get me to the shipping and receiving. Thank you so much for making sure I knew where I was going”

“I was in a really bad spot when I first reached out to JFS, at the urging of WCCMH. Everyone I first spoke with was very helpful, and the process was smooth and easy. The main reason I wanted to leave a 5 star review though is because of the therapists I worked with during my time with them. I worked with one therapist who was leaving soon, so we had about 6 months together before she moved on to greener pastures, and another who worked with me on CBT for several months before I was able to get a better job and health insurance. They were both SO helpful and understanding, and it was so easy to speak with both of them. Additionally, the tools I learned from the second therapist were so helpful I still have some worksheets in my briefcase. I have worked with a few other therapists before and since then, and while they were all great, none compared to the two I worked with here. Thanks JFS!”
“Hands Across the Water is an incredible organization. The staff are caring, professional, and truly dedicated to supporting families. From the very first interaction, they made the process clear and welcoming, which helped ease what could have been a very stressful experience.
They provide so many resources, guidance, and ongoing support — not just for children, but for the whole family. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the community and go above and beyond to make sure people feel supported and heard.
I’m so grateful for their compassion and commitment. They are making a real difference in people’s lives, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for adoption, foster, or family support services.”
“Since 1965, the Ark has been an institution in Ann Arbor. We have seen countless concerts here, as well as open mics and more. Five stars isn’t enough, thinking about the volunteers and logistics these days. Driving 100+ miles is not an issue, well worth it. No ticket master, no skimming greed here. Just great wholesome music in an intimate setting!”
