I was glad to get recommended to this shopThe shop manager, Joe, was extremely helpful and so nice and professional! My car was repaired, and everything seemed to be working. I was given a nice discount. They have a clean and comfortable waiting room, and the shop provides a free ride while your car is getting worked on, as well as picking you back up when your car is ready!

I've been taking my cars to Convenience Auto for several years now and each time they continue to impress me with their skill, efficiency, politeness and just general care for my vehicles. They always go out of their way to help no matter how unique the issue or the vehicle may be. And believe me, I've given them a variety of vehicles to work on over the years: 1965 Pontiac Bonneville, 1991 Ford Mustang GT, 2002 Supercharged Saleen Mustang, 2008 Buick Lucerne. They make vehicle maintenance very easy and Convenient, hence their name. Absolute 5 star rating for these guys! Thanks, Convenience Auto!!!Services: Transmission

They have friendly and helpful staff. Fair price for repairs. Some delays in repair occurred, but nothing more than a day to get parts. Brake calipers replaced and functioning after a few days of driving

I had a great experience here! I wanted my "seasoned" car to be inspected before I attempted to drive it across the country, and I needed a tail light to be replaced. First, they were very flexible, helpful, and friendly with scheduling an appointment around my activities. When I brought the car in, they gave me a ride home .. I had given up hope that auto places did this anymore!! That was really nice because it was very hot that day, and it saved me a good chunk of time. They were done in just a few hours and gave me the option to pick up that evening or leave the car overnight. I arrived to pick up my car just minutes before closing, which didn't bother them in the least. They said everything looked fine and my car would make it across the country with no problem. Then, they informed me that I didn't owe them anything, because all they really had to do was replace my tail light bulb! I was really impressed with their old school focus on being helpful and having positive relationships with their customers. Definitely check them out if you're looking for an honest mechanic and a pleasant experience.

I used to use Convenience Auto Service for my wife's 2012 Subaru Forester for several years but I no longer recommend them. I had them do some expensive suspension work that they suggested I do again when I went in a few oil changes later. When I pointed out that they had done the same job they were quoting a short time earlier, they were totally unaware and said they wouldn't honor their warranty, claiming I must have hit a pothole (I hadn't). They also said that my engine was about to die and wanted to replace it for $10,000. It turns out Subarus of this engine type just require a lot more oil as they age, and I've driven it across the country several times now without issue. Go elsewhere!Services: Steering & suspension repair

Joe & his supporting cast were friendly, efficient, & reasonably priced. He shared work that might be needed in the future (our car is 14 years old) but didn't try to compel me to do right away, unlike the dealership. My cost for the major repair was over $900 less expensive than the dealership wanted to charge. We have two older cars (Jeeps) & will definitely get our work done there in the future. Giving highest recommendation!

We have used Convenience for many years for our Subarus and for our much beloved Mitsubishi Eclipse, a street model that has been a great car to own and drive. We almost sold the car because we received a diagnosis, a very high quote for a head gasket job. The bolts for the engine repair were quoted as $100. Per. Bolt. So that is $1000 JUST for the bolts! We took our car to Convenience because it died at an intersection. The first repair they completed was for changing out the crankshaft timing sensor, spark plugs and wires. When it still ran poorly after completion of that job, they diagnosed it needed a new head gasket, quoted to us as a $3400 job. We decided to get a second opinion at a shop that has a mechanic that knows Mitsubishis. It turns out because the the timing was improperly adjusted, the car was running poorly. We have a photo of the timing out of alignment that the second shop sent to us. It also turns out that the new camshaft timing sensor was an inferior aftermarket part, and the second shop replaced it with an OEM part, which costs LESS than the part they appeared to overcharge us for. The bolt was also stripped. MOST IMPORTANT = NO need for a head gasket job. The 2nd opinion shop we ended up using also mentioned that our car wasn't known for needing that type of work. It doesn't overheat.A shop that guarantees their work doesn't mean a whole lot if some of the profit they are making is using substandard instead of OEM parts that are overpriced to begin with. YES there are supply chain issues, but the shop we used got the parts needed, including OEM, no problem.I checked with DSM Tuners online (as this car is highly desired for mods) as well others, and the price for the bolts, certainly, was way out of line. Also, PLEASE ask for OEM parts ONLY for your car repair and do some due diligence if the part prices seem a bit high.We almost sold a car that we love, and no longer need to do so.Be advised.
