This credit union lacks features, rates, and rewards that other financial institutions have. Also the one time I was a victim of fraud in the ten years that I’ve banked here the Plymouth Rd. branch manager and Dfcu as a whole were completely useless in helping me. With that being the final straw of my poor experience here I just walked across the street to Huntington and I am already experiencing a much better time with my finances.

3/23/23I spoke with Mary in Credit Adjustment about a problem with my mortgage payment. She gave me several pieces of incorrect information about my account and DFCU policies in general. I called back and spoke to someone and got completely different (but accurate) information. When I called again to try to tell Mary what she had gotten wrong, she wouldn't take my call and told someone to transfer me to her voicemail. This tells me SHE KNEW SHE WAS WRONG!Sierra was really nice and patient and placed me on hold several times to get me the correct information. But Mary? She's apparently a know-nothing hack who doesn't know what she's talking about. Not to mention a coward who didn't want to be called out on the erroneous "information" that she had provided.Update: So DFCU has responded to my review telling me they want to speak with me "regarding my experience." But the response has no name attached to it and the number provided is their general customer service number.What am I supposed to do, call customer service and say, "Yeah, I posted a negative review about you guys and someone asked me to call back and talk about it"?Apparently, their response to me was an attempt to appear responsive to customer complaints without actually being so.Such B.S.

Very polite; usually no lines. I just don’t like it when the tellers ask me what I’m doing this weekend. Or when I ask for a roll of quarters, they say, “Laundry day?”. They are told to be personable, but this is over the line I feel.

I used them for an auto loan. I had to open a checking account. 1 month later, they have not given me a payment book, they have not informed what my loan account number is, they have not told me my checking account number, they won't give me the info over the phone, I cannot log into my account online without that info. Payment is due in two days, I am on vacation, they wouldn't take a payment over the phone. So, this payment is going to be late, there is absolutely no help from them to get it paid. BS.

I used them to get my auto loan and they went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer. The staff working at the bank are always pleasant and friendly, and I am glad to be banking with them.
