They stole my tire lock and recommend services that I don’t need, change my air filter when it’s not needed.

My Granddaughter is currently a Michigan student, took her car this shop for an oil change and to have a check engine light checked.
Long story short, they gave her a repair estimate for over $1200.
Contacted or service provider, who reached out to this shop for an explanation on charges. Service provider David had no idea of what codes were detected or procedures were used.
Was totally unprofessional and put our provider on hold for over 15 minutes. Not sure what’s going on with this facility, but can guarantee her vehicle will never go back.
I feel they figure they had a college student whose parents had deep pockets, and could charge whatever they could get away with.
My provider said he wouldn’t take his wagon to this shop, and the rudeness he encountered was why repair shops get a bad name.

This must be the most incompetent repair shop in the entire firestone network in the nation. I had done service and repair for all my cars in Firestone for almost 15 years. Recently my daughter took the car to Ann Arbor for her school.
In November, she reported that the car was not starting. She took the car to the shop and they diagnosed it to be bad alternator ($$$$). We replaced it and they said the battery is fine and will last few more months. Few weeks later, the car was not starting again. This time, it took them 4 days to diagnose the issue and they said the starter has gone bad. Again another $$$ spend on the car. Finally, I figured I might as well bring the car back to Florida. Upon arrival, the car did not start. After jump start, took it to auto zone and one look it was easy to figure out that the issue is with the battery. Replaced battery and car is perfect.
I reached out to the manager and told him the story. He said he will look into it and get back to me on Feb 17th. No call or info yet.
Either the master technician, who supposedly evaluated the car, is totally incompetent or worse they have bad equipment. Either way, that's the last for me to visit this place.

Heartbroken. Extremely convenient store, serving us on-and-off for 20 years. What began as a neighborhood store with no inflated services and a desire to know their customers has ultimately become (for us) distant and corporate. Don't believe their website when it asks for a preferred method of communication; phone only. Unwilling to sympathize or even attempt to accommodate a hearing deficit. Strongly recommended services that they themselves did less than 2 months ago (eye roll). Defensive customer service rep. Sorry to say farewell.

This place was reliable for years and it's a shame that I don't trust them anymore. The last two times I've left my car with them things were missing when I picked it up. It also seems like there is only one employee that isn't rude and dismissive. Shout out to that guy with the goatee, thanks for your help over the years. The option on their phone to make an appointment leads to an overseas call center that makes false promises and the mechanics may blame you for believing the call center.

I told the service advisor to change the right tire as it was a dangerous tire, it could blow out soon or cause me to hydroplane on water. That tire was not Leagal to drive on anymore. I assure you that I correctly told him the bald tire was on the right side. I needed an alignment as well. The technician informed me about an hour later they had installed a new tire. They couldn’t align it as the right outer tire rod needed to be replaced. I declined to not have it done because it’s a 10 min job to replace it my self with a new Autozone part for $40 bucks with a lifetime warranty. I’m not going to pay $220 for that job, the one tire and the alignment was already $356. The driver side tire was still Leagal to drive on. Once the car came out of the bay, I said I would reschedule the alignment the next day after I replaced then tie rod. I noticed he left the unsafe bald tire on the right side. He replaced the legally safe left tire with a new tire, he left a bald tire unsafe tire on right side. Why the tech installed a new tire on my car on a car that could not be aligned blows my mind? Now I’m burning up the new $140 tire. The Service advisor told me I needed a new right tire once I paid for my vehicle. I was like did you really say that as I told you the right side was unsafe to drive. The technician replaced the good safe left tire. I had to come back a few hours later after I noticed the issue to get the good tire from the disposal area in the shop. They didn’t seen cool about me wanting it back! I’m going somewhere else to get my cars tires replaced next time!

You had to schedule an appointment, but unfortunately, you couldn’t get serviced on the day you scheduled it. They were unaware that there wouldn’t be enough workers available on that day. As a result, they allowed you to make another appointment. During the phone call, they simply dismissed your request and moved on to talking to someone else. This is unacceptable customer service, and I won’t be doing business with them.

Upon arrival I noticed that new wiper blade boxes with new wipers shoved under the hood with old wipers not replaced, with further investigation the battery that was supposed to be replaced had not been replaced and the new one was laying on the floor in the bay, the next day I realized the tires I asked for had not been the ones put on and the lubricant they used to mount the tires was not cleaned off and proceeded to strip the clear coat and paint off of my rims.

Lied about alignment and told me a part I replaces 6 months ago was to rusty and I needed to pay $300 for them to replace it again. Horrible store that preys on people they think don’t know about cars. Do not go here

Love these guys. Busy Saturday for them but I woke up with a flat this morning and they squeezed me in, got it done, and didn't charge me (bought the tires there 2 or 3 years ago!)

Had an emergency when we hit a curb and blew a tire, called Firestone on Huron at 6pm on a Friday and David that answered was super nice & told me to bring it right in. They got it back on the road by 5pm on Saturday for an incredibly fair price especially considering how busy they were and how last minute I was. Would highly, HIGHLY recommend these honest and caring professionals! Thanks guys!!

They’ve been very helpful with my Jeep at better rates than the dealer. Thank you so much for accommodating my work schedule!
