The hotel staff is great. This hotel has my business go to for the past few weeks. Clean rooms breakfeast area super clean been a pleasure. Definitely will be my go to place for business in the area.

Overall, a good experience. Breakfast was great, the hotel was clean and comfortable.Biggest downside is that they don’t turn on their exterior lights until 8:08pm. It gets dark around 7pm. We arrived around 8p and I thought our GPS was mistaken- not even a sign was lit up to guide us in. Fortunately, a few people had their shades open so we could make out hotel rooms. I wasn’t sure if the hotel was in operation.The fellow at the desk was a straight up talker, friendly sort, but is not good at reading a room or guests moods.The breakfast attendant on 10/8 was super friendly and very helpful!Rooms: Rooms were clean and spacious.

The Holiday Inn Express in Ann Arbor Michigan was very nice. The staff was friendly. The room smelled fresh and was very clean. The self-serve breakfast area was very clean, including the floor. It was well stocked with yogurt, fruit, eggs, bacon, and bread. I love staying at the Holiday Inn Express. Keep up the good work.

The hotel is clean and does not smell bad. beds are comfortable and restrooms are clean too. However, the service is not desirable.1. Although I am an IHG premier rewards member, they did not allow me to park my vehicle in their parking lot during the weekend when I was heading back home.2. While checking in, I was sent to a room that was already occupied.3. Their lobby is full of noise and it is a complete disaster to sit there and catch up with work during the night.4. Their breakfast is not delicious and for the most part, their food items are not fresh. Bananas are dark, bagel breads are as hard as rock, and the omelet is dry.I will not come back here again.

Great place to stay! Awesome service. They made sure I was happy and warm by bringing me an extra comforter. I also love that the restaurant across the street is Black Rock! So we never have to go very far to eat! This is definitely worth the money. ?

I had a reservation booked through Expedia for Saturday and the Friday prior to my reservation someone from the hotel called me to tell me that they couldn't honour the rate I had booking through Expedia and told me to call Expedia to sort it out. Expedia calls the hotel to fix the situation. I show up on Saturday and they tell me that they have my information but couldn't take my reservation because they were fully booked.We ended up having to spend $100 more at a different hotel and couldn't find a room to facilitate the amount of people we had.If you have relationships with 3rd party companies like Expedia to get rooms booked then honour your agreement. When you don't, it's the customer who loses in the end. We are in Ann Arbor often but this was our first attempt with Holiday Inn Express and it'll certainly be our last.

I am not sure why Google rates this hotel as a 2 star hotel. I would rate it 3.5.Hotel was fully booked because it was move in week for U Mich yet the staff was friendly and as accommodating as possible.The room we stayed in was a good size and well appointed with a desk/comfy chair, small table and extra chair, good lighting, lots of outlets, a TV that you can connect your own streaming device to (too many hotels have TVs that don’t let you use the hdmi ports which is a major bummer for me), good size bathroom and blackout shades plus privacy shade.We had one maintenance issue and it was addressed quickly and effectively.Breakfasts were well stocked (thank you Simone) and the eating areas offered good seating.The lobby has good spaces to work if you need to.The restaurant across the street was good and it’s a short drive to the Zingerman’s outlet as well as many other major stores. It’s a short drive into Ann Arbor.The only negative is the parking lot was full many nights due to trucks or trailers parking across multiple spots. This is not the hotel’s fault and thankfully there are some non fire lane curbs to park against.

The location of this hotel is incredibly convenient. Our room was nice, felt large and had a lot of space. The tile floor seemed permanently dirty from construction. Breakfast was great.

Breakfast is okay. It's not gourmet, but it's highly edible and for a family a decent breakfast is a savings and important. The staff is nice and friendly. The workout room is fine, fairly large and has nice dumbbells. I'd stay again.

The location was a little further away from the campus than we would like but we loved everything else about it. Both desk clerks (check in and check out) were very friendly as was the lady who makes breakfast. The hotel was very clean and our room was perfect. Breakfast had cereal, yogurt, sausage gravy and biscuits, omelets, cinnamon rolls, a pancake making machine and more. Plenty of seating.There was also a pool and nice fitness center.Would definitely recommend!

This hotel is a scam. They charge $27.75 for a reward night stay even though there is no additional charge disclosed at the time of booking. I even confirmed with the front desk that there would be no charge when checking out. Yet they placed this charge and made up random excuses that kept changing when I confronted them over the phone. Make sure you use a good credit card so that you can easily dispute their bogus charges.

It's a pretty clean hotel. Nice big tv with a lot of channels to watch. Problem is the noise. I can hear stomping above me. I can hear people talking in the hallway. The cars racing down the road. If you can handle the noise , I'm a lite sleeper, it's a great place to stay.

We had a confirmed reservation for this hotel and when we arrived at 9:00 PM the person at the front desk told us they were overbooked and they didn't have a room for us. The first person didn't make any attempt to point us to another hotel in the area let alone contact the hotels. The manager had left and was not able to be contacted. The third person who showed up at least gave us the number of a nearby IHG hotel, which I called and got a room. There were several comments from the staff about there being 20 overbooked reservations that night and that this was happening regularly. One person said had we called the hotel to make a reservation rather than book online this wouldn't have happened. It's 2022, It's probably been 20 years since I called a hotel to book a room. Problems happen, but how the organization handles problems is what matters, this was simply appalling customer service.
