“Appreciate the courteous staff! I had 2 necklaces soldered within a reasonable time (around a week). Fairly affordable prices considering labor and how badly in shape my necklace was. Vittoria had me all set up and detangled my necklace! She was so patient about it even though i asked a lot of questions. She also assisted my friend who came in for ring resizing. Very much satisfied with their service!”
“Took my 6 yr old for lobe piercings Kei and Kaneena were fabulous with her they made her feel like one of the girls and that meant a lot to her. They explained the entire process thoroughly, took time to like up her ears properly (she's got funky ears). Place was nice and clean. Definitely recommend for a mother and a daughter memory. Excuse my daughters face in the one picture she was trying to look"fierce"”

Stop by for men's wallets and get great Italian Veg tan quality at reasonable rates. You'll find a variety from everyday carry (EDC) up to immaculately crafted vertical bi-folds. There are brochures. “We have been long time customers of Mr. Gulko. I can tell you it all started almost a decade ago when we spontaneously stopped for lunch across the street at his small and quaint jewelry store. I feel in love with a particular ruby necklace, but that was the end of it- or so I thought! A few years later my husband surprised me with the most lovely and beautiful engagement ring that was crafted by Alex. I receive compliments on every single piece he has ever made for the both of us. Alex has great attention to detail, he is extremely professional and he is a true artist!”

“First off I would like to comment on the sense of security this fine store has you feel a pure 10/10. never have I been more pleased with how they handle any transactions, its as if each person walking in was special as I could tell some customers in the store had been with this store for a great many years and each jeweler new them. The man helping me didn't up sell me and try me to get me to buy the best thing they had. it was my first time their and would I not have changed my mind I would have bought another name brand watch in their store, but their own in house watches were so brilliant I had to make my first watch a schlanderer & son's watch. Greatly recommended to anyone starter or legend.”

“Amazing little shop. Prices are not marked up like most shops in this area and are honestly very reasonable. So much to look at and soak in. The nice lady who was running the store was extremely friendly and helpful. We bought earrings and a bracelet for my wife that were very colorful and affordable. We also bought my daughter a bracelet. After some more shopping around the area we eventually returned to shop and were able to find our oldest son an OM wind chime we think he will find interesting. Would recommend and will return.”

“Another place that I can't believe I haven't written a review for yet. I absolutely love this store and it's one of my favorite small businesses in Ann Arbor! Located in Kerrytown across the street from Detroit Street Filling Station, this woman-owned business is stocked full of so many unique and thoughtfully curated and sourced items. You want to come here for all the most unique and gorgeous looking goodies to gift to yourself and your loved ones and make sure to stop by often as they have a rotating selection of goodies throughout the seasons and months as well! They always have gorgeous window displays, the employees are always so happy to see you and the service is wonderful, and this shop is just so dreamy! Things are definitely on the pricey side here, but everything is really high quality and they feature a ton of local artisans in the area as well. There's nothing I love more than an intentional shop and you can truly feel how intentional Thistle & Bess is in every detail their store contains. Absolutely lovely and always worth a peruse whenever you find yourself in the Ann Arbor area!”
“Upgraded my wedding ring stone because I chipped it. They created a customized pendant in house with my original stone (rose quartz). A jeweler was at the location in Ann Arbor today and completed the pendant within an hour. He even positioned the stone to hide the chip. Turned out BEAUTIFUL! Can’t wait to wear it. Excited to get my wedding ring back with my new stone. The store manage was very pleasant and professional and Laurie (sales Associate) was friendly. I unfortunately don’t recall the gemologist’s name that was there today: but she was extremely helpful and friendly as well. Came in to check my prongs on my ring, left with a new pendant and a wedding ring upgrade.”
“Quaint shop filled with handmade goods sourced via suppliers and artisans associated with the Fair Trade Federation. Great selection, store is organized and staff and volunteers are friendly. Prices are actually very reasonable given that you’re not shopping mass-produced goods, AND you can feel good about not contributing to capitalist entities. Shop can be easy to miss located next to bigger name brands (Shinola is next door, for example), but it’s squeezed in there on the east side of Main near Shalimar. Pop in and check it out!”
“Chris is the absolute best. He is so sweet and he will make sure he perfects exactly what you want. He makes dreams become reality. He has done a couple rings for my husband and I. Along with my parents. It’s such a fun experience to watch him draw what you are imaging. I highly recommend him!”

“Visited this neat shop (on a whim) in celebration of my birthday and wife's permission to get myself something interesting. This proved a great old store with exactly the extraordinary collection of things we were hoping to find today, and lucky to stumble into. I ended up with a barn owl wooden puzzle display piece befitting of my particular style and search for quality (and yes, I found the mouse)! My wife celebrated too, in finding herself a unique nesting doll in her color and personality. We also found posh soaps and had a friendly chat with the clerk about the area and this wonderful place. Whimsy fulfilled, fond memory collected. Highly recommend for both the local resident and the next out of town rambler.”
“Through a google search I found a really nice wooden frame and reached out to 16 Hands to see if they could help me determine whether my piece would fit into the frame. The owner responded really quickly and was super helpful. She even included some cardboard in with the frame for me to use to make it fit just right. The piece also shipped quickly. “My husband and 5 year old hatched a plan to get her ears pierced..I wasn't ready. The staff here was great. They were patient and explained everything to her and to us (it's been many years since I got mine done). She got to hold the Claire bear as a distraction. We got specific care instructions. They had 2 team members do both ears at once so it was easier and less traumatic. I was nervous about a mall store getting her ears pierced but they did a great job.”
