The parking lot near Macy’s has a large pothole that pose a serious safety risk. . This area is usually busy, and the pothole poses a safety risk for both pedestrians and vehicles. Someone could easily trip or damage their vehicle. This needs urgent attention to ensure the safety of visitors. It would be great if this could be fixed soon to avoid any potential accidents or damage.
Update :
I placed an online order for pickup before my trip abroad but couldn’t pick it up. Surprisingly, I received an email saying I had picked up the order, even though ID verification is required for pickup and my card was charged. I had to email Macy’s customer service from abroad to sort this out. While they did eventually remove the charges, the whole experience was frustrating and inconvenient. Better systems are needed to prevent such errors.

Typical Macy's

It's OK ...
However, Macy's has slightly declined a bit over the last couple of years. No more tailored suits (strictly off the rack), no more shoe salespeople (pick your own), and no more delicatessen (nowhere to eat). It's basically a glorified Target. But at least there's a Starbucks inside of Target.
Von Maur is the last hope.

Tonight Macy’s at the Briarwood mall was open until 11 while the rest of the mall closed at 8. Fair enough. I bought a couple things at Macys on my way to another store in the mall, figuring I’d pick up the rest of what I needed on my way back through Macys to my car. When I finished shopping at another store in the mall at 8 I walked back to Macys through the mall (as I’ve done many times at other malls where the anchor store stays open after the rest of the mall closes) only to find that the gate was pulled all the way down not allowing me to:
1. Shop more as I had planned. 2. Find the safest path to my car through the store (as I had planned). Other folks were in the same situation as me. We tried to get the attention of employees who acknowledged then ignored us.
I ended up having to backtrack to a mall entrance and walk outside past the Macys store to get to my car. Needless to say I won’t be shopping Macy’s again and understand why brick and mortar stores and malls are dying with wacky practices like that! What happened to understanding your customers’ needs?

I went there to purchase some nicer clothes for my husband. It was 10 days before Christmas, but still. Not one display carried any sizes besides "small" or "XXL" Their buyer needs to get their act together. I tried to "shop local", but when "local" has zero options for average sized clothing, we are forced to Amazon.

Paint your parking lot. This is ridiculous. People parked all over the place this way. That way it's cold out here. It's a long walk. I can't even I don't know

Their store is nice, quality items yet overpriced. When they have a good sale it's worth it. I really like shopping upstairs at the Franklin Park mall Macy's because I find rare treasures I can afford there. Even if it's a hunt the price can be right.

Lots of cheap stuff
There's nothing worth buying. It feels like I'm throwing away an item that fell over and fell on the shelf.

My wife dragged me, kicking and screaming. She enjoyed her visit.
I am not a shopper, no what you are after, get in, get it, get out.

A dinosaur of a store, there’s no way there are still Macy’s once the older crowd stops shopping there
