They ruined my pants and lied about it! They hemmed my pants way too short and tried telling me they couldn’t do anything! The hem was single and crooked and obviously altered and ruined.

Very RUDE woman that works there..I wish I could give you zero stars. Took a blanket there for cleaning and they didn't do a good job, they gave it back to me dirty.... even green stains from the cleaners they used. When i went back and told her, she started insulting me while the blanket was still in the bag. You will never see me again I told her and just left. There are much better places around for my business, I dont need to be insulted by this RUDE woman. NEVER AGAIN.

What a Mickey Mouse business! this is the second strike so I decided to write the review. I went in for alteration. The woman wanted me to have the measurements (!!!) I told her she should measure herself ( this was about taking in pants at the waist , not shortening or lengthening something , which I did measure at home in the past on my own , just t avoid the changing boot) . So she gets me into this open space ( no curtains ) with a mirror, I change and then she tells me the pants cannot be adjusted because it needs more than 2 inches taken in , which she cannot do! What a non-sense! I will never go back there and suggest you think twice too!

The best I've used. They got some stains out I couldn't and they're always pleasant:)

I am very careful about reviewing small businesses because I know how reviews can affect them. However once an employee of a family dry cleaning business myself- I can confidently say.. this was a terrible experience. I chose the cleaners because of the proximity near my work. I asked specifically how many days it would be before I could have a suit returned that I absolutely needed for a wedding. It was a Monday when I dropped off the suit. After a bit of back and forth the older gentleman told me Friday around 5 pm- wow that was cutting it close but I asked him reassure me it would be done and he confirmed.
On Friday at 4 PM I called to check to make sure it was ready for pick up. I politely told the lady I dropped off a suit on Monday and asked if it was ready- and she flatly said- No. without asking for a name, tag number or anything. How did she know who I was? A bit panicked I tried to explain to her I talked to a gentleman and he reassured me that it would be. After me telling her the story she literally called me rude- and then I had to get assertive with her - emphasizing I needed to know when I could get the suit. After a continuation of words towards me- all of a sudden she said. The suit is here. Wow just wow. I was shaking by the time I got off the phone. I would have never called a customer rude or treated anyone like this employee did. Hence when I showed up it was awkward. As she tried to be more pleasant to me.. too little to late. She then also proceeded to tell me I was lucky I got undercharged!! I waited over a month to write this review to make sure I wasn’t being unfair and to let my emotions settle. I am still this dissatisfied with that establishment.

I've been going to Magic Touch for two years, have read all the reviews, and know the previous and current owners. Let's be honest, they're good people--they clean your clothes at a reasonable price, I've never lost anything, and I've always been treated with the utmost respect. BTW, respect goes two ways, and frankly, I'm not there to socialize (although I have gotten to know them, and they're good folks). Referencing the review from medsdad below, I seem to remember a few months ago entering the store, holding the door for an angry woman who was exiting. Interesting coincidence, but that's why I'm writing this. The story was that she had complained about every detail on a $1.90 shirt laundering job, things which the store couldn't influence. The owner didn't need customers like her and let her know, which I find to be brave, if not necessarily wise. ;-) I have never had any problems with Magic Touch, will continue to go there, and don't expect to have my backside powdered, just good service at a good price.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! The previous owners were very nice and were always helpful and pleasant. The new owners are gruff, unfriendly, and just want you in and out. Even said if we didn't like it to go elsewhere! Take my advice - go to any other cleaners in the area and avoid Magic Touch at all costs.
