Necto is a premier nightlife destination and one of the best dance clubs in Ann Arbor, established in 2001. It serves as the nightlife epicenter for the University of Michigan's campus and the city. The club features a dynamic, multi-level layout where each floor offers its own vibe and music, from top hits and hip-hop to electronic. It hosts multiple weekly events, including the internationally known Goth-Industrial night Factory Monday, the largest gay night in Michigan called Pride Friday, and the hot club night Frequency Saturday. The club is known for its great energy, lively atmosphere, and upbeat, diverse crowd. Bartenders are quick, friendly, and amazing, making well-made and reasonably priced drinks. The venue can provide VIP bottle service and is available for private rentals. While generally awesome, some feel it can be over-crowded on the main dance floor. Overall, it’s a vibrant spot for dancing, socializing, and a memorable night out.

This place is a great spot for drag shows and queer events on Friday’s. Jesse is a fantastic, friendly bartender and high key deserves a raise, and Jeremy is a very friendly and professional doorman. Security is on top of it here too.

Necto has always been a great night club but it they have been over crowding it lately. You can't even move on the main dance floor anymore. They need better music or lighting or something that draws people to the second stage.
