The staff at the PetsHotel are truly A+! Our Josie girl gets so excited to see them every time we bring her in for day camp. They treat her so well and it just makes us so grateful; we feel confident that she’s in good hands when we drop her off.

The Saline-Ann Arbor road staff have been rude and uncooperative several times. There is usually a search for staff when you need something from the aquarium area.

My dog goes to Doggy Day Care at Petsmart and loves it. The employees take really good care of the dogs and are fully engaged at all times

My review is for the grooming services. I booked an appointment online at night for the next morning, so it was very easy to get an appointment. Jackie was my groomer, and she did a fantastic job! I was really so pleased with both the quality of the cut and also the time she took to get to know Khan at check-in and work with me to figure out what the best cut for him would be. She followed my requests to a T! I only wish she had still been there when I picked up my pup so I could thank her in person for her excellent work! All the other groomers there were also very nice and helpful.

WILL NOT BE BACK!! Had are two dogs boarded and groomed here. They tore out one of our girls toenails, than lied about saying she did it herself. She NEVER chews on her nails, plus two of the nails where cut next to the one they tore out. Stuff happens, but don't LIE about it. ??

Petsmart..overpriced, dead fish, fish stored in tiny plastic tubs.Good for petfood, snacks and treats, tanks, leashes, collars and whatever else you'd need.Looked around a few times.. it always seems to be the same issue with the animals there.

I have limited experience at other PetSmarts but I feel like this location really has employees who love animals and treat them well. My dog frequents Doggie Day Camp, and it's telling that she is always really happy to see the people who check her in! They all seem really kind. I like that their day camp program is structured with different activities throughout the day. They send me home with a "report card" of how my dog did that day, which is a nice addition. They also do really cute events at day camp, with decorations and photos of your dog. My dog doesn't really like this haha, so we typically aren't going on party days, but it's really really cute. This is also my go-to location for pet supplies when I want/need them same day. They have same day pick up and delivery options as well. Between day camp and retail, I seem to accumulate rewards at a good rate, which comes with nice little discounts!

Poorly signed and when the line looked to be about 15 minutes long I asked the clerk what aisle rodent food would be on. Was told to go find an employee "a long the fish wall." No employee existed. Clerk made a rude comment about me to another customer as I left. I also visited your rival Hollywood Feed today where a polite employee helped me and apologized that they're low on rodent food currently. I also have Amazon prime, and can get food delivered next day with no rude PetSmart employees. PetSmart, you just permanently lost a customer.

I WAS a Loyal Customer PetSmart located at 13150 Middlebelt Rd., Livonia, MI 48150. After the pandemic as businesses began to openly, slowly, I made an online appointment for my 25lb She-Poo and my 105lb Great Dane/Mountain dog mix. The groomer was Jordan, someone I had never used before. My She-poo normally takes about 3 1/2 hours with the groomer. I was contacted within 2 hours advising that I needed to pick up my dog. I was not told the reason why. I arrived to find Jordan with my small dog. She indicated that my dog's nose area had been nicked because of the (age) bumps on her face. My dog's face had some blood on it. I was obviously not happy to say the least but I accepted the service being free as compensation. Consequently, my next online appointment was NOT with Jordan. On this occasion, I picked up my dog to AGAIN see her with Jordan. This time, my dog's ears and face area had not been groomed properly (there was matting on her ears). This time, I made a complaint with a manager and was awarded a refund. I then demanded that Jordan NOT be allowed to touch either of my dogs again!! I was then restricted from making online appointments. I was told that when an online groomer is not available for an appointment date/time, the client is reassigned to another groomer (and this without contacting the client). I called to make an appointment for my dogs in October 2023 and was told my account was locked out and could only be opened by a manager. I would have to wait to speak with a manager to make an appointment (total inconvenience!!!). I contacted them again today, November 9, 2023, in an attempt to make an appointment with David (whom I had used prior) and was told he no longer wanted to groom my dogs.....?? I have been a loyal customer with PetSmart for over 20 years. I have used their grooming services for at least 13 years and this is what my loyalty gets me??? No thanks!!! PetSmart, You are NOT the only pet supply/groomer establishment out here!!!!

Wow..where do I begin. We have been boarding our dog here since 2018. The staff have always been friendly and communicative. Recently we have always interacted with the friendly staff member with the freckles (sorry I can't recall her name) she is always friendly and welcoming. Well the people (3 females) there now have no personality, they don't talk to you, they do not smile and act as if you are incoveniencing them. I thought maybe it was a one off thing when I dropped my dog off but it was the same when I picked him up. They did not warm up to my dog or anything. And THAT was concering to me. I am rethinking of boarding my dog there again..I do plan to follow up with the Pet Hotel corporate office. Interestingly the employees when I walked in the store were friendly and welcoming.

They tried to charge me $86 for a bath and “light trim” when I asked to be charged for the services only that my pup was getting, the bill changed to $41!!! I said I wouldn’t be coming back after that. Then as I’m paying they said when they turned on the clippers, my dog freaked out so I had to come back and get him. No bath nothing. They wouldn’t have used the clippers so I know they were lying. Huge waste. Don’t use Kim!!

I boarded my two dogs here in late July when I had my baby. They were both so stressed and unhappy for days after picking them up. My normally bubbly people loving corgi hasn’t been quite the same since. Not saying they did anything, but she just did not have a good experience there. My collie was dealing with urinary incontinence at the time due to a medication side effect. I asked when making the reservation if that would be an issue and they said no. I wanted to get them grooming appointments so they would be clean when coming home with our newborn (we live 40 minutes from where the petshotel and hospital are so we all would be in the car together), but they didn’t have availability for two baths. They gave our collie back to us just covered in urine and said “we know you wanted to bathe her when you got home” I’m sorry but no, we wanted to do baths at the salon because when making the reservation they said the hotel wouldn’t bathe my collie. She is a smooth collie, so she has a shorter coat. They do have the resources to have bathed her at the hotel but because her coat is longer than two inches they would not (it’s maybe 3 inches in some spots). I’m just shocked they returned her in such a filthy state. They doused her in dry shampoo to try to cover the urine smell. I chose PetSmart petshotel because I worked at the Troy location for a few years and up until this point having an intimate knowledge of policies and procedures gave me comfort in leaving my dogs with PetSmart. Plus my collie had boarded at PetSmart hotels many, many times. She was given to me by our PetSmart manager even. I’ve had such good experiences at the other locations, but not this one. My dogs weren’t the same as they usually are after being boarded and the quality of care was not even close to what I was used to both giving when I worked at PetSmart and receiving as a customer for the years since. Since then I’ve had other people tell me they refuse to use this location for boarding as well due to bad experiences.
