love it here! Super kind and helpful staff. Info about the selling process is easy to understand and helpful. Great for getting some extra cash for casual styled clothes you do not want anymore. Also very clean there and a big space with lots of clothing, jewelry and more.

It seems like everytime I come here it gets worse. The customer service is horrible. The girls all have frowns on their faces. Whenever I come in, no one is friendly no one smiles. They all look like they hate their lives. Worst customer service in a retail store that I have ever been in I will never return.

This is the worst Plato’s Closet I’ve been to. The employees were standoffish and not very welcoming. They told me it would take 30 minutes, but it took an hour and a half because they were talking or singing majority of the time. They wanted $1-$4 for my Fashion Nova, Nike, Gymshark, and PrettyLittleThing items that had TAGS. I took my items back because there’s no way I’m selling it to them for dirt cheap. Their stock did not impress me either for it being in Ann Arbor. A lot of shein clothes.

I brought this bin in with my clothes to make things easier for the sorting team. Was returned damaged:/
I also noticed half of my items are folded exactly the same way I had them which means they didn’t even fully open up the items to evaluate them fully.

I enjoyed going in there. Great items and great prices. However I do think some of the people who do the pricing, can be a little selective, maybe, playing favorites.. accepting only things they want to wear.I've sold√ rejected merchandise in the store. While putting my items away people were watching. We were both stunned why they didn't take some of the things back..Yes more useful items. Which I have, and I have classic items too. It's interesting. Some people, don't get asked for ID while they're selling merchandise. But constantly I am asked. Not sure what that means.Overall it's not that bad. And again some of the clothing attractive. I wish they wouldn't give low, offers. And then others I've seen get a glamorous offer.

Friendly enough staff, stocked shelves. The plus section is definitely always lacking so I was getting rid of some gently used basics and more, figured I’d take them here first. I brought around 25 in season/heading to fall items, numerous long sleeve crop tops that were solid colors and nice fabric. I was shocked when I received a text less than ten minutes after dropping off my items that they were done and ready for review. I was offered $4.83 for 3 items. Multiple items in my basket were left folded in the same fashion they were when i came in, unreviewed. They rejected everything for wear and “busy patterns” (the majority of items were solid colors, and they kept a sheer 60s flower power top of mine! lol). They’re very picky here and will likely be ageist/discriminatory to you if you don’t fit their demographic. I’d stay away.

Zero! Waited 70 minutes just to take my drop off items to not be looked at. Chatty staff & wasted my time. Will not return

It’s hard to sell here, but that’s what makes it a fantastic place shop! The staff is kind, efficient, communicative, helpful, and very chill. More organized than a TJ Maxx
EDIT TO ADD: the lack of consistency in their buying can be fairly frustrating. As sellers, we never know what’s happening behind the scenes (overstocked on one thing, blah blah), but when you walk aisles filled with Target, Forever 21, and SHEIN and realize that they refused your brand name NWT items…🤷🏻♀️. Just hard to swallow the repeated/frequent contradictions

Terrible experience, I came in with all brand new stuff still have tags on them boots and shoes that cost well over $100 they took majority of the stuff which is about roughly 10 to 15 items. The lady that came in before me she came in same amount of items She had school gear. I will call it. They gave that Lady $240 for her items when I come back to get my items all brand new things with tags on them never worn they told me $27.65 mind you they took all the brand new shoes out of the bin that never even walked on the concrete $27 mind you I’m a black lady and the other lady was white now you tell me how does used clothing that definitely had wear and tear on it come up to $200 but stuff with tags on them brand new never worn get $27 I do not recommend coming here if you are a person of color because they act prejudice towards other people and give better opportunities to people of their kind. And on top of that, they try to have a smart reaction when you don’t want to except the price that they gave you why would I accept $27 in this stuff is well over $200. It’s not fair.

I went here to try to find a purse or wallet and they had a great variety. Found something I liked without needing to buy new. They were friendly.

They have such a huge collection of clothing and shoes for males and females to choose from! Prices are a little higher than I would like. They only do casual clothing. They do have a large selection of Lululemon in addition to everything else.

Usually I make good on my items. Yet today they gave me more than half of my things claiming they don’t take children’s clothing and some things a bit more love with that I agreed. I refused to respond about kid sizes didn’t have the time today. I shop a men’s small and the site said they take joggers. I wore the joggers maybe twice some things a little bit more love but my purchases are in men’s because they are a more comfortable fit for me and my former job was in a warehouse. Room for human error being I also have worked high end resale before. Best wishes but please learn the difference in sizes because others may have been turned away.My kids are also ages 24 and 26 I haven’t shopped kids in years so there’s that.

Found what I came for. They offer a changing room so you're able to try on your clothes.
