Rovin Ceramics is a friendly and knowledgeable local shop for all things ceramics. They carry a wide selection, including underglazes, glazes, clay, spodumene, frits, tools, and drape molds. They are affiliated with Motawi Tile. Their products are well-priced, with very reasonable prices on tools and great prices on materials. The staff is super friendly, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products.
The shop has a small retail space but offers almost anything you might need. They provide helpful details, like fired example pieces for their many stunning glaze and underglaze options. Their "You Betcha" mid-range clay mix has a bit of grog, giving it more structure and heft, which is good for sculpting and holding shape. They sell underglazes in various sizes, from 2oz bottles to pints, suitable for both hobbyists and those needing more. They also offer fast and well-packaged shipping for orders.
While they can occasionally be out of a few items, customers find it a great place overall and highly recommend it, planning to return and order again.
We love Rovin. They have helped us build our pretty and ceramics toolkit, literally, and are a constant source of supplies and additional tools. Alix is also really friendly and helpful. Always willing to issue with us on new ideas and ways to accomplish our creative goals
