Took my 6 yr old for lobe piercings Kei and Kaneena were fabulous with her they made her feel like one of the girls and that meant a lot to her. They explained the entire process thoroughly, took time to like up her ears properly (she's got funky ears). Place was nice and clean. Definitely recommend for a mother and a daughter memory. Excuse my daughters face in the one picture she was trying to look"fierce"

Rowan is fabulous! The staff are great and always pleasant and helpful. My daughter had a great experience getting her ears pierced and the smaller earrings are all so adorable. I buy them too!

My older daughter (9yrs old) has had reaction to multiple earrings and studs and had taken her earrings off for a few days so her ear lobes could heal, but they just closed up. So, I was on the lookout for a new place to get her ears pierced again. I saw that Rowan has hypoallergenic jewelry and also 24K gold studs. Knowing that pure gold is inert, I decided to give Rowan a try. Had a great experience with very knowledgeable nurses, who gave very clear, precise & easy to follow instructions about caring for the newly pierced ear lobes.Fast forward to about 10 months later, we changed her earrings for a wedding and it wasn't good. I went back to Rowan mainly for the cleaning spray but walked away with a lot more knowledge and insight than I knew I needed. The nurses are very knowledgeable and explained to me about all the reasons drainage and crusting could happen, how to manage and prevent it and till what age this problem can happen in growing kids. This kind of insight comes from an inquisitive and problem solving mind with experience to back it up. They were not trying to sell me anything I didn't need and I knew they gave genuine and very helpful advice, which I am very thankful for. I would highly recommend Rowan Arbor Hills.

highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to get pierced!! nurse terrah was so nice and did an amazing job! there’s plenty of jewelry options to choose from and they make sure you have all the info/supplies for aftercare. definitely going back for my next piercing :)

I got my 13y old daughter’s ears pierced at the end of December at the Ann Arbor location. I noticed that all the earrings fastened in the front, which I thought looked like they would pop off easily. The staff assured me that does not happen. Furthermore, one front of the earring popped off two weeks later in January. Luckily we were able to find the front of the earring and they helped us put it back on because it’s not easy the way you have to bend the wire back into the post. Now, we are at the beginning of April, and the front of her earring popped off again but this time we cannot find it. I called the store to try to purchase a replacement single earring, but recently they no longer sell singles. The staff member said I would have to purchase a full new set. Honestly, I feel like they should still be under warranty, because clearly it’s a defect in the way the earring attaches. She’s only had them for about 3 months and it cost over $500 to get them pierced with the set of earrings. I think they should have sturdier earrings with better fastens if they’re charging that much. Very disappointing!

This was my second visit to Rowan Arbor Hills & as with before, received excellent service! I actually no longer live in Michigan, but made sure to stop here before leaving. The ladies were patient while I picked out a set of studs to replace my second piercings & was fast & easy! Also decided to let my 17 yo son get a piercing in one ear & the lady assisting did a great job informing him along the way the next steps & he was very excited to see his shiny lightning bolt on his ear! Highly recommended this business.

Kei and Kayla were so friendly and great - went here for my very first piercing and Kei was so patient and encouraging… made me feel totally in control and safe! I am so happy we decided to come to Rowan.
