It is nice to have a local store where I can try on athletic shoes. Each brand has different sizing and ordering online does not work. The sales’ staff is fun and friendly and it is a pleasant experience to shop at Fleet Feet!

I need to add to this review! I made a big mistake, that involved me needing to return brand new shoes, but WAY past their deadline. I told them I would understand if the answer was no. But they listened to me and understood what happened-totally my fault. (These were shoes I had tucked away for the summer.) The two excellent clerks were in a tough position. They don't get to make these decisions. But one of them texted their boss, and they agreed that in this case a store credit would be appropriate. They did not have to do that, but they recognized me as a regular customer and wanted to make it good for me.
I try very hard to support local businesses, and this business will see me over and over again, and I will be recommending them to all my friends!

The guys at this store are amazing, they take their time with explaining each shoe, get you a 3D scan so they know what shoe works best for you!! Best part is there wasn’t any pressure to buy the shoes, and they actually wear the shoes, and explain how they work for them!! Thanks Jake, great experience!!

I had a positive experience. I originally went to replace the model of shoe I had been wearing that I bought at this store. However, the newer model had more foam and didn't quite fit the same as the one I had been wearing. Jake, a member of the staff, was very helpful and knew the products. He suggested a different model in the same brand that had more sturdiness to the fit and had a better toe box, too. I would never have known about that shoe with his input and listening to me. I ultimately bought the one he suggested might be better.

I was looking for an actual brick and mortar store in Ann Arbor to try shoes on and speak with someone who knows about foot pain and shoe technology. Tim helped me by giving me a digital foot shape and walking-style assessment. He narrowed down my options to 3 shoes and eventually we both decided only one pair was right for my very specific foot issue. If you want the highest quality shoes for walking or running (or everyday life), go here. Do not waste time buying shoes or insoles online. Pay a few extra dollars and get the right product for your feet.

From the minute I walked in they were friendly and very helpful in helping me pick out shoes without pushing any specific brand. They based recommendations on the Fit id, so very specific to my gait.

Great selection of running shoes. Staff are friendly. Coaching for shoe types is a bit generic, I feel like years ago the advice was more data based. Decent selection of running gear.
