Been living here since 2021. After hearing reviews of other apartments, I just want to say that Spice Tree is one of the best living space out here. It’s reasonably priced, all issues are fixed immediately, friendly neighborhood and overall a safe place to live. Highly recommend!

Living here was fine. It's the logistics and money management that urge me to say find elsewhere to live. We lived here for 3 years and during that time they charged us a late fee because they deposited our check late, sent notices and tried charging for renters insurance after I sent them our policy over 3x to the email they gave me, they screwed up our last lease renewal, and never provided us an option to renew. If you choose to live here I implore you to keep written record of literally everything, they cannot keep anything organized and you might end up owing money you don't owe, or being in a lease that actually doesn't exist but is in their system by "human error".
It took over a month to get the security deposit back (which is illegal in Michigan the landlord has 30 days post move out to return it), and it was not the full amount but they provided no statement showing why we didn't get the full amount back (also illegal). I left the apartment cleaner than it was when I moved in, so I can't imagine what they docked me for was fair.
Save yourself a headache for the entirety of your lease term and find somewhere else to live.

I have lived with my family in a spacious two bedroom apartment in Spice Tree since the end of 2020. The complex had been renovated prior to our moving in and is impressively designed. No matter the challenges we have had with apartment living, maintenance and the staff work to resolve things. Like many other complexes, the lease renewals may seek to reflect property values in the area. We have been able to find agreement there too. Overall it is a great place to live

Love the Spice Tree Team, the patio and the nature and greenery is refreshing! To add its pet friendly, there are poop bags everywhere (lol) and a dog park!

They are located perfectly between everything you need for fun, groceries, work university and next to the US23 on ramps. For the price you can't ask for more.
