Spun is a family-owned local yarn shop in Ann Arbor's Kerrytown Market & Shops, a historic building shared with other neat small businesses. The store is beautiful and inviting, offering an unmatched and wide selection of yarns and tools. Yarns are helpfully labelled with origin and price and sorted by weight with large signs. The staff is amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to help. They provide invaluable lessons and offer lovely classes, as well as free online drop-in sessions. Visitors are greeted with smiles and leave looking forward to their next visit. It is a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone feels cared for as a person and a crafter. Great yarn. and alternative fiber craft selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Prices can be be a bit steep, but I chalk that up to survival as an ethical small business in Ann Arbor. Thanks for stocking roving from breeds beyond Marino.

A enormous selection of ethically made yarns and fibers that I was honestly a little overwhelmed! Staff were super helpful in finding exactly what I needed as someone newer to working with yarn, and really nice. Seems to have a lovely community surrounding them too. Definitely gonna go back!
