My mom's favorite store, which actually says a lot because mom is a real veteran shopper.

Terrible service. Snobby women who aren't interested in their customers.

I was going n the store for over an hour searching for an outfit. No one greeted me, offered to help me or acknowledged my existence even though I had an armful of cloths. No offer to start a room or any pleasantry. Wouldn’t have been so off put by it except other customers were greeted and help offered and rooms started. I was apparently wearing my invisibility cloak, also known as pudgy middle aged-ness. I’ll shop online from now on.

Terrible store in that they discriminate against plus size women. The other Talbots I’ve been to carry plus size but this store evidently doesn’t feel plus size customers aren’t important enough to carry any plus size merchandise!! The ladies, however, did offer to shop with me online!!

You need to protect your employees and shoppers better. I was in today 8/30/21 shopping with my wife and an older woman in her 40’s-50’s not wearing a mask and casually leaning on the counter checking out and was coughing up a storm ALL OVER YOUR EMPLOYEE. Who does that? Why didn’t your employee call security? The woman was spitting everywhere and not even properly turning away and covering her mouth.Yes, I did say something to your customer and it wasn’t kind. In retrospect - I should have called security as we were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and with this errant, unmasked, cougher I did feel threatened - I don’t want to get a breakthrough case. We left and are not coming back to that mall because of Talbots nom-existent mask policy. If you were working or shopping at Talbots around 11:45am-ish on 8/30 and you catch COVID - I have a photo of COVID Karen who was spitting everywhere as she openly coughed up a lung.I know stores are between a rock and a hard place but the boomer cougher should have been tossed out of the mall by security.I’m sorry Talbots but until you have a mask policy - we’re not shopping with you - at all. Also! Have some dignity and a backbone and protect your staff better - you’re failing miserably.

Lots of merchandise and many items on sale. Talbots is taking great precautions with covid19 sanitation. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Good morning. Yesterday I was at Talbots in Briarwood in Ann Arbor. It was the worst service I had ever received. There were two women there at first I was the only woman in the store and then another lady came in. I was asking for help as I knew specifically what I was looking for. They pointed to where I might find the Chatham pants. And when I could not find them they did come over to help. And then I wanted the same pants in black. They reluctantly helped. I would have bought another pair of pants but it was not in stock in my size and they would've had to order it online so I did not even bother. I believe one lady was Molly, but not positive on that and I don't know the other lady's name she had short gray hair. Very unprofessional, and caring and not interested in sales at all. I've never had an experience like that until this before..

I just want to thank Colleen for going above and beyond for me. I was on my way to the airport and stopped at Talbot's and accidentally left my credit card there. She called me and I did not have time to return to the store before my flight. She Fed Ex my card to my destination and I received it a day and a half later. What wonderful customer service. I will definitely shop there in the future!

The environment in this store is far above average; it feels like a good shopping location. There is an unusual glassed display right at the entrance that I thought clever enough to photograph an upload.
