uh prices have gotten ridiculous in target! and the cashier didn't know how to get cash back and then said I couldn't with a discover card, even though i have before? and i was late because it took like three transactions to get cash back!

I find any excuse to come here! I can rationalize a quick stop to the Ulta section because of the essential items needed at Target. Shelly runs the Ulta boutique here, and she is amazing. I've worked with her for over a decade representing many cosmetics and skincare lines. You can't go wrong getting high end beauty products here!

Systematic racism: Around the summer/fall time, applied to work at this location and I was denied an interview a couple days after submitting the application. At first, I figured "it's ok, not every job will say yes." Until I found out that one of my white coworkers applied and was hired for the same position. My (former) coworker and I are the same age and have both been in customer service for about 4 years. So I applied again and changed my ethnicity from "Hispanic/Latino -Spanish speaker" to "non Hispanic/Latino- non Spanish speaker," to see if that would make the difference and it wasn't even 45 minutes later when I received a direct call from 'Kathy' asking me to come in for an interview with Christina. The interview went well, but I received an email that night at around 3am saying I was denied the job once again. I can't help but think that they realized I wasn't white like I had put in my application and turned me down again. So I filed a report with their integrity hotline, which I then realized was stupid to do because no matter what you report to them, it's up to that store to determine if they even want to address the incident. Even if I'd given them the benefit of the doubt, how could a corporation as large as Target not notice 2 applications with identical basic information (name, address, experience, etc.) submitted within the same week? I haven't shopped at that location since then and neither have the people I told this story to. F*** Target.

No paper bags! Just left target carrying all my purchases out by hand because I only had the choice of plastic. How come other targets can have all paper bags but the corporate mouth breathers who run this target are too lazy to get with the program? Inexcusably lazy. At least give me free postage with every plastic bag so I can mail it directly too the ocean and kill our planet faster.

All right. This is still a smaller stock Target but I have come around on the grocery section. I like it. Sure, I can't find as much other stuff but given this one is closer to my house it's nice that I can pick up some reasonably priced, good quality groceries here. These days I'm avoiding going into stores so I haven't been in to grocery shop lately but I do like the curbside pick up A LOT. I place my order through their very easy to use app and a few hours later I'm able to scoop up what I need. You can't get perishables with curbside pick up but dry and pantry goods, most beverages, etc are available with this option. So we'll stock up on chips, iced tea, sparkling water, etc once every couple of weeks. I have a Red debit card so I save 5% on each purchase and pick up is a snap when you let them know you've arrived through the app. And it's completely contact free. I just pop the trunk and off I go.

Not a bad target for being close to a college town. It had everything I needed! No great deals, it was fairly clean, they just stocked the Christmas decor so I was a happy pinterest girl. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. They had the basics which was all I needed.

Ok, the get an average of my two visits. I've been in Ann Arbor a lot this month and I went to this Target twice in three days. First visit - awful! 1 star because you can't give zero. The store was messy, lots of empty spaces and clothing on the floor. I was wandering around looking for Command packages of picture hangers. At the one near my house they are logically placed near housewares and hardware. So, after checking those two locations and basically walking the whole store I asked a Target person. Me " excuse me can you tell me where I might find Command products?" Target employee, not stopping but talking as she continues walking past me, "those are in block B". What????? Is this some sort of code? So I say "excuse me, what does that mean?". At this point she's half an aisle away and points in the general direction of the other side of the store and says "walk over to grocery and you'll see it on the left." Thank God for the lovely other customer who happened to hear the exchange and lean out of the aisle she was in to help me. She explained in great detail where I should look and it is only because of her that I found it. Visit 2 - 5 stars - like it was a totally different store two days later. The whole store was tidy, and every employee was friendly and helpful. I had to return an item which was handled efficiently and pleasantly. I almost felt like I must have a sign on that said "be extra nice to this person". As I was strolling the aisles, two people asked if I needed help. And when I actually did need help the lovely young woman that I asked said "let me look on my scanner for the exact aisle" and then started to walk with me toward it. Only after I indicated that I knew where it was did she turn back to her stocking of shelves. So there you have it, it's conveniently located. But depending on when you go you might get the 1 Star or 5 Star Crew! I really hope the 5 Star is their norm!

I like Target and this one is one I stop in sometimes. The staff is helpful, the store is clean and the items are well stocked. This location is in a busier location and further from work but closer to home. Most of my business goes to the location closer to work as I prefer to shop in the early morning hours. Also shopping online helps me a lot also and I that is convenient. I like that they partner with Shipt also but that not available in my town yet

Very bad customer service in the mobile department, when this was brought to store management they stated they couldn't do anything. I understand this is a third party vendor though they wear the name and represent target very poorly and something should be done instead of saying nothing we can do. I requested a call back on a issue and had to call several times with no response. In addition I was sent the wrong item and when trying to return it, worker gave me the clearance price because it was outside of the return window though she saw it was a target error. This store in entirety is terrible....

I had seen that there was a $150 gift card promotion for upgrading my iPhone to an iPhone 8. Upon searching/calling a dozen stores I learned that phone is no longer available. I figured that an upgrade is an upgrade and the money is going from target back to target. The associate in the target tech area seemed willing to help, but her supervisor basically told me too bad so sad. Call a 1-800 number and try your luck there, because i'm not going to make the exception. I've been an avid target shopper for as long as I can remember, and I'm not sure why they would offer a promotion on items that are not available at all, and then not honor it on products that are available. I know that target tech is new, but I think they need to evaluate their technology to better align with stores and make sure inventory is up to date, that they not offer promotions on unavailable products, and that when a customer is told they can use coupons by a target.com rep and then told no by the target store. Probably the worst experience I've had at any store, usually target is great as far as customer service, but this experience has left much to be desired!

Alice in customer service is the BOMB. I didn't expect for someone to go above and beyond for me (and the customers waiting in line behind me) but she did without question or hesitation. I simply needed to check if another Target store had the shoes I wanted in my size/certain color and she was on the phone for nearly a half hour trying to help me out. AWESOME.
