The best lease consultant, Kris, she worked non-stop for her high qualified service. The manager, Dayvon, dealt with the repairing request quickly. He sent the world class staff, TJ and Jeff. They figured out the problems, either solve it right away or order the parts for me. I feel I have moved to the right place and started to relaxing and enjoying my own apartment. Thanks everyone!

Love living here and how quickly the maintenance people work on my issues. Best place in A2.

Lived here for two years, our stay there ok. However, upon leaving they sent a final statement, charging me a late fee, even though it was the first time they issued me the statement and there was no way for me to pay before. Their website is terrible and kept freezing, such that I couldn't pay the bill. I sent multiple emails that went unanswered and made phone calls that they said they would return, but didnt. They then sent the statement to collections. It was stressful and frustrating.

We've lived here for 5years. Maintenance is wonderful. They are very kind and do their best. It's safe and friendly community to toddlers. After 6years, we left Michigan and moved other state. We haven't seen any apartments like Haven. Dog friendly, kids friendly, located right next high ways. Anyways, we just miss Ann Arbor. Someday, we will visit Haven. We have a lot of good memories.

My wife and I were given a tour by Haneen she is the best! Ask for her when you're curious about living / renting here she will give you the most detailed run down of the place and was super helpful!

This apartment has predatory leasing practices and half the workers have no idea what they're talking about. We signed a lease on the promise of it being 9 months which was great even though the distance of this place from the university of Michigan was a big inconvenience. As our lease was coming to an end, they sent us a 60 day notice. We called and asked about this notice only for the worker to mention that we don't have to worry about this notice as it doesn't relate to use as we're not renewing for next year. Everything was fine, we moved out and we're turning in our keys today only for my roommate to go in and the worker mentions that she still has to pay two months of rent because of some rule they made up. We asked for the manager only for the manager to coincidentally not be there because she works from home. We asked to speak to her on the phone only for the worker to come up with another excuse to cover her manager(must be paying real well for you to lie on her name). It is completely unacceptable for an ugly place like this which isn't even worth it for the price to have practices that prey on their renters. If anyone is contemplating this place please do yourself a favor and go down the street or somewhere else, anywhere else is better in Ann Arbor!

Lived here for 2.5 years. The rent was reasonable based on comparable prices around Ann Arbor.Location was great, quiet but easy access to highways and downtown. The nearby trails are a plus. The gym/pool area was nice and well maintained.Maintenance was quick to respond to every issue we had and always resolved the issue. Management was generally responsive but didn’t always follow through (never refunded false laundry charges on my card).Apartment itself was nice, never had a problem with noise, smells, bugs, etc.Problems: The trash valet was inconsistent so it’s a scam to be required to pay for it, they never maintain the walking trails in the winter (they did a good job on the sidewalks to your front door, but not the walking path around the ponds), they don’t empty the trash cans or dumpsters frequently enough, and there are minimal lights/sidewalks around the perimeter of the property.

Edit: 10 minutes after posting this comment someone from the office contacted me. Not sure if they saw this comment, but we will figure out.More Update: 3 more days have passed since I got back to their message but again no response. I am officially giving up on this apartment and conclude that the management is either rude or disorganized. I am quite confused on all the good ratings given by others that somehow have a way to make contact with the office, but I would recommend anyone interested to proceed with caution.I never lived in this apartment, but I am quite unhappy at the rate of response when I reach out to them. For three business days in a row I have made multiple phone calls, sent several emails, and used their online chat tools, but never got the chance to speak to a human officer, not even once! All I kept getting was "we have received your request, a team of member will contact you soon" but that never happened. Now I am quite concerned that if they are not even interested in responding and getting me to sign a lease, how can I expect them to respond (if at all) and solve any problem during my stay?Maybe I am wrong and someone can correct me, but usually when I reach out to a leasing office I get a response within 24 hours. This apartment seemed great to me with high ratings and nice environment, but now is crossed off my list.

I love living at the Haven! When I first came for my visit, I was greeted by Haneen and she was so awesome! She made the move in smooth and has been there whenever I needed anything throughout the year and a half I’ve lived here. All of the employees are so nice and helpful. Highly recommend!!

4.5/5!I lived at The Haven for just over three years, and it was quite bittersweet to move out! This complex was only the second one that I toured when first arriving in Ann Arbor, and I signed the lease right after the tour. Considering the high cost of living in Ann Arbor in general, what this place offers is a great deal, especially the newly renovated units and the units with a loft! The loft unit is by far the best style of apartment that I've ever lived in, because it actually feels like a home. The pool in summer with the BBQ grills is a great amenity and always a fun time, even if just to come out and relax in the sun. Overall, the grounds of the complex are well maintained and look beautiful in the summer and also in the winter covered in snow! The monthly resident events are a great thing to have fun and meet your neighbors, and the staff is always very friendly and engaging. Maintenance requests are always fulfilled effectively and within a couple days time.My only slight complaints (deducting half a star for this) are that many bugs easily get into the apartment and it's very hard to get rid of them. Also some of the bathroom fixtures, such as the shower faucet knobs, are not of good quality and start to fall apart and get loose after a few months. I've had my shower faucet knobs replaced multiple times over my three years here. The bathtub's surface lining also starts chipping and peeling easily.Overall though, I've had a great experience living here and calling The Haven my home for 3 years! It definitely lives up to its name! Unfortunately I moved out of state and I will really miss this place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good and affordable place to live in Ann Arbor!P.S. One super cool amenity that I really wish I would have used more is the locker room sauna!

I was asked to review service after putting in a maintenance request. Our two toilets were running after being flushed. This was both annoying and costly for our water bill. I asked them to repair the toilet and the first time I asked they attempted to fix the flushing device by just connecting the rusty chain back to the lever (which I had already tried). The second time I placed a work order request, they replaced the device in the back of the toilet and they no longer run after being flushed. Definitely satisfied with the repair, just annoyed it took two requests. The other problem was a water stain on the ceiling, didn't want to wait for this to become a bigger problem. They came and fixed our thermostat and heater (didn't even know it was broken!!), but definitely happy our house isn't cold in the middle of January. Generally speaking, the maintenance crew is responsive, respectful, and they do a good job.

Giving the rating of three stars since the issue with the refrigerator making knocking/tapping sounds was not repaired but not without the lack of trying on behalf of maintenance. The knocking sound still exist so it seems that it will be something I’ll have to get used to hearing.

Moved out of state about a year ago. I still miss this apartment. The complex really felt like a community and they had some great floor plans. Check them out if you're looking for a place in the area.
