this place is huge and full of stuff. It looks okay from outside. Unfortunately they don't label prices. That alone provides for a disappointing experience. They invite you to ask for prices at the register.
In addition, place was terribly dirty. The only way I would buy something is if I could wash and disinfect and sanitize thoroughly. Many of the items were very dirty.
So it was worth checking out but I did not stay too long and I did not buy anything.

This place is by far the worse thrift store and thrift experience that I have ever had. They do not price anything, so you spend hours searching through massive amounts of junk and finally think you've found some stuff. Only to get to the register and the lady has a horrible attitude and names outrageous prices. You'll spend hours for nothing, do not come here. I'd give it 0 stars if I could.

I visited for the first time this weekend and can say confidently I’ve never seen such a thrift shop. I’m sure for some people this is a thrifter’s paradise. But this place is a lot. They have a lot of junk. I mean that in the most respectful way, but they had dozens of dirty, rusted old Grand Traverse disposable pie tins, rusting silverware, super dirty kitchen appliances. Pricing is entirely dependent upon the front cashier who gives a once over to each item you have and assigns a price as y’all are standing there. I’ve seen some people say in reviews that you can haggle, and some say you can’t.
I kid you not, this place has over a million items (if not a million, several hundred thousand) between everything inside and outdoors. But so much of it seems like stuff that probably shouldn’t be resold. While I respect the desire to minimize waste, seems like a decent amount of what my friend and I saw was not worth reselling.
Overall, if you have a lot of time to spend looking through stuff, maybe you’d be interested in the place. To be fair, there are items in here that are super unique, but you’ve gotta dig.

Love the variety of items but having to wait h til you are on line at the cashier to find out the prices is a no go.

My experience was okay. Because I was breathing from the diaphragm. Practicing restraint. When I first entered, the lady at the register. I asked if I could bring my bag in? And she said with a slightly attitude, do what you want! So I proceeded, this is only my 3 time in this establishment. And the first two times was years ago... If you have the time, and the patience. I'm sure you can find some things. The place definitely gave me a haunted house. From the chickens lurking in the walls, kind of behind the scenes but I saw them. There are cats, the one closest to me was ,a sweet black Kitty. I was hoping to pet√ THE other taller lanky 'blonde lady, said not before I do. And I'll let that go, I told her in a sarcastic voice. I'm surprised you like the cat is black!!! I wasn't sure of the process. But once I was told by a nice customer. I took pictures, and found Mark, and I negotiated some decent prices I do believe. A sofa, a leather chair, and a leather ottoman. Share House does have a very interesting vibe. Austin, was a little sarcastic, when I was asking a question. But him and a colleague, charged $80 to deliver. I think that was not bad. When I was leaving, The lady that was originally sarcastic and mean at the front register, gave me a granola bar. I told her I needed I'm morsel, after all the walking around. I actually took it. I'll probably go back. I can see however how some situations could go left. Share House does have some very cool, interesting , findings.

The workers have always been nice to me but I bought a nonwhite friend and they were really rude to her. It left a bad taste in my mouth

Big place with lots of hidden treasures, but the no price tag thing is bs. I looked at their UMich shirt rack and thought “Wow! These previously worn U of M T-shirts & hoodies really hold their value. That, or they’re way overpriced.” Still, they do have a bunch of cool stuff. I guess the question is if you’re in a haggling mood when you go to a thrift shop? ??♂️

I was disturbed to see chickens eating from behind the dumpster at this place… clear animal neglect that the city should address. Inside, many items were wet and smelled of mold.

Great storefront but BEWARE OF SUZAN the cashier. My family and I travel and thrift all over the world and this store had some great finds but the experience was ruined by SUZAN at the very end. I spoke to the owner of the store about the exchange, and he said “please don’t mind her she is old and bitter”. We hope to revisit in the future so we can redeem the experience.

Mold in the ceilings. Especially in the toy area and the other upper side. Insulation is falling out and water leaks onto everything. We also saw some type of rodents crawling in the insulation, alongside the mold. This building is extremely overpacked and is one match away from blowing up the block. I’d really love to know how the township allows this?! Someone must be lining their pockets. Definitely doesn’t meet ADA or OSHA requirements. How are they legally allowed to not follow basic guidelines. One would be smart to assume it is allowed due to their fake nonprofit. Continue to donate and buy her, you’re doing nothing but making the man in the back richer and the woman at the front, who grossly overcharges, a higher salary. You’ll notice they don’t willingly offer where the money goes and they get extremely defensive and they all give the same rehearsed statement of how they “help” the community.

A store selling second-hand items still has racial discrimination. I arrived at the store at 4:50 and they close at 5:00. The clerk just wouldn't let me in. There were two Americans who came later than me and they were allowed in. It's really rubbish, rubbish, too rubbish. It's not even 5 o'clock yet since I posted my comment.

We are international travelers and went to the store at our son’s recommendation!!! So glad we did. Susan was an absolute delight, when she learned we are from India she welcomed us & indulged us no end. We will definitely visit on our subsequent trips back. Thanks Susan!!
