Very rude older lady at register. Have encountered her twice now and neither times has she been friendly. We tried to do a return and she made it harder than it needed to be and her manager was even respectful and okay with the return. Thank you the manager who helped us out and issued the return with no problem, however other staff must be friendly as well.

Cashier couldn’t do it, a man up there couldn’t
Do it , had to call store mgr .
Took a long time Said gift card wasn’t
Subtracting from balance since I was purchasing

They never said I’m sorry thus is taking soo
Long!!!
When I finally said I needed this done had to go
They just looked at you! Stared!!!!
Like was my fault !!!!

You can find some of the most incredible deals here! Cartier and Tom Ford sunglasses, Gucci jewelry, movado watches, great fragrance selection, I mean I could just go on and on. You just have to look carefully, it seems like they hide the good stuff sometimes almost so its not seen, probably a theft deterent. Also they have great stuff kitchen area, great coffee syrups, lots of snacks to try and obviously all the cool electronic stuff like wireless chargers and headphones for the gym and LED teeth whitening, just lots of stuff you never knew you needed but obviously need desperately. LOL Also the staff is super friendly but overworked, clearly. If you can get someone who is not already busy helping someone else, they are extremely knowledgeable.

I went in to buy a new coat ,some sweaters and do a return. After being treated just awful while I was doing the return, I left. I tried multiple times to converse with the employee. She never even tried to make eye contact. All she did was repeatedly ( 4 times) asking me what was wrong with my purchase.
I will not shop where customers are treated poorly.

Both times I shopped both cashiers helping me weren’t very welcoming. The second time not only was I treated poorly but I was charged for the items I was returning AGAIN. I was visiting my mom and not paying attention, confident even with the poor service that the cashier knew what she was doing. I called when I returned home a few days later and the same cashier answered the phone, although I immediately asked for a manager she questioned me on which number cashier I visited, making me wonder if she has had complaints before. She got the manager after I answered her question. He wasn’t helpful either, no consideration for the fact that this was not my mistake. I had to escalate to customer service, who eventually did help but I was only returned the second charge of the items, and never refunded the initial charge that should have been refunded when I returned the items. I called again to confirm the initial refund would be deposited but it never did arrive. I’ve never had such terrible customer service. I’m not sure I’ll return to any TJ MAXX which is a shame. I am still owed $35 but at this point it’s not worth my time. I spent lots of money with this company.
