Every company is out to take advantage of everyone they can. It is the new way to do business. Dishonesty and deception. Has become the new business common practice. University Of Michigan Credit union, Is NO exception. Covid changed everything. Everything has doubled. Prices, Fees, and businesses taking advantage of everyone. Even companies that were once respectable. University Of Michigan Credit Union is no exception to the new "Screw you over" business practices. I have been a longtime customer. With business and personal accounts. Have one auto loan and another credit card, almost paid off after 5 years of paying on time. Even paying more than asked, most months. NEVER missing a payment. Even during covid. When I didn't have work for a year. And no one helped me!!! Being self employed, and a middleaged caucasin male. Now that I made it through covid, and need help keeping my successful business from going under, due to equipment needs. University Of Michigan Credit Union refuses to help me in any way. And I have excellent credit not to mention above attributes. I highly recommend doing business with a bank who cares about their customers. UNLIKE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN CREDIT UNION

I was a member of this bank for 22 years before I closed my account in frustration. The ATM wouldn't accept my check, falsely claiming I entered the wrong PIN (I tried it twice and I've used the same PIN for 22 years). The lobby was closed, so there was a 30-minute line at the drive-thru. I called their phone number and was told I was caller number *59* in line. So I got in the drive-thru, hearing occasional honks and screeching of tires as people left in frustration, and 30 minutes later closed my account. The teller didn't even ask me why I was leaving them after 22 years. Either she already knew, or didn't care.

They used to have good service but since the update to their online/mobile platform, I am not longer able to get any service representative to answer the phone

I’m not sure which location Pam is at but I lost my debit card yesterday and she was kind enough to call and email me about it. She even put in an order for me to get a new card. She was extremely helpful - thank you Pam!
