Front desk staff civil but unhelpful. Room was not clean, there was a piece of gum on one of the chairs. Housekeeping did not come at all during our 2 night stay.

My daughter's compete in Beauty Pageants held in this hotel. Now I won't say they are perfect, but I will say that if something is wrong they will absolutely assist you with finding a solution. They are accommodating when it comes to all of the Pageant mom's taking over the bathrooms. I thank them. The location of not far from downtown area and lots of food. And it's super close to the expressway, like right next to it.Rooms: Rooms are pretty spaciousNearby activities: There is a a stop mall a 1/2 mile away that has everything you could need

First when entering the gentleman who checked us in on the 23rd was amazing and reasonable and the breakfast was great, however that was it as far as customer service the lady who worked on Christmas was just terrible and only made up excuses we asked for a late checkout and stated that we might be staying an extra day but by 11 am this lady knocked once didn't even wait for an answer then busted in the room and even after noticing there was someone inside didn't have the decency to step out but rather stayed in the room and began to lecture us about putting the do not disturb sign on, we didn't even pay it too much attention at first and decided to stay and asked for a late checkout at 1pm even called the next morning at 10 am stating we staying until 1pm, but by 11am back at it again this time no knocking just bust in however she went out immediately after realizing the room was occupied, we decided it's time to go when got to the front desk to complain about the barging in taking place it was the same lady who wanted to lecture us in the room on Christmas and she could not care any less she just brushing everything off about not having up a do not disturb sign on apart from that a major issue was that there is no privacy with the curtains next to the door you can literally see the entire room from outside through the mirror from outside you have to be pulling the curtain over the door in order to maintain a sense of privacy and even when we complained while checking out again she couldn't care less and only stated they should be remodeling soon worst person to be at tge front desk to represent the companyRooms: Lack of privacy

The bed and bathroom sink were nice, but I’m pretty sure that’s where all the money was spent. Let’s start with the door- you literally have to slam it to get it to lock. Having an infant in the room we couldn’t slam the door so, the only thing keeping the door closed was the flip latch on the inside. Secondly, the heating unit/ac took 5 hours to cool our room down. The room was about 75 degrees upon entry. The thermostat for the main hotel area is set to 68. It’s cooler in the hallways. My infant was so hot she threw up and wouldn’t eat or sleep until 2am. My baby is usually passed out by 10pm and sleeps all through the night. If corporate reads this, check the video from midnight-1am you can see her father carrying her around the hotel in her diaper to cool off… after we finally got her settled we tried to bathe… that’s a joke. At 1am it took about 10 minutes for Luke warm water to make its way to the tub faucet. And another 5 min for it to resemble hot water. The knob had to be set on full hot the whole time to get that. The tub had two holes in it and what looks like some sort of caulking or sealant stuck all over the tub but not for any reason. The toilet handle isn’t even attached and we had to tear the back open to stop it from running all night. And finally, the giant window that looks out onto the hotel lobby… just why? You can’t block out the light 100% with the curtains. And who wants a view of the lobby? In that, the lobby is very brightly lit, so if anyone leaves the room at night you’re waking up the whole room because bright light streams into the room directly towards the bed. And last but not least, the very dangerous plug by the sink… the light flickers until you wiggle the switch and the plug sparks and is broken and loose.

Tried to find a quick place to eat and only fast food was McDonalds. The hotel bar did not have a chef so went without food. Never stay here again. Went for 6:30am breakfast and all they had ready was cereal and pastries. Couple that with 3 Spanish channels 2 news 3 local 3 showtime it was a good thing I brought my chrome book to watch a movie. FYI not handicapped friendly as there was no elevator.

Not the worst place I’ve stayed in. Hotel needs to be refreshed. Looks old and tired. Room was decent. Had a smell and AC was loud. Multiple patches on the ceiling poorly done that just looked bad. Sheets and towels were clean and smelled clean. Breakfast average. As long as they have waffles I don’t care about the rest but sausage and eggs were not that great. Staff was nice and helpful. Main reason for staying here was the shuttle to the game. Otherwise I would have stayed somewhere else. Would consider going back but probably not our first choice.

Front desk nice, rooms strange and bathroom in room tiny and mold along tub caulking. Largest complaint is there is a bar in the atrium outside our rooms. Still can hear all the conversations and partying at 2:30am. So if you're in a bind, beds are comfy, but request a room somewhere away from the main area.

Hot tub wasn't hot enough or open late enough. Bottom of pool and hot tub were a little gross looking, but did seem clean. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was pretty ok.

Poor room; furniture aged; noisy fridge, which had to be unplugged by a very helpful service guy; no window outside, only to an aisle.Very Strong smell of chlorine in the room and in the lobby because of the lovely inside pool.To recommend only to people who love to swim.

The booking staff was very helpful in accommodating us for a specific room type we needed. But the facilities, cleanliness, broken connecting door lock and a homeless man sleeping in the lobby on two occasions were very concerning.

Dirty floors. Torn carpets. No hot water. Bare shelves in the convenience shop. Curtains that don’t close. Peeling wall paper…serious can’t believe this is a Wyndham hotel. I will give them credit for having some very healthy plants in the lobby.

Staying here while visiting my son at UoM for a football game. I was reluctant to book an ADA accessible room (all that was available) for $400 a night but didn’t have much choice. While I expected and was prepare to pay a premium, what I didn’t expect was to get a room that was is total DISREPAIR and DIRTY. There is hair in the shower, grime around the toilet base, rust stains all over the bathroom floor, smudges on the nightstand, debris on the floor, etc. The “popcorn” ceiling is falling off, paint is chipping everywhere, missing pieces of baseboard, furniture is old and beat up, TV is ancient and tinny, lampshades damaged, etc. ITS A MESS! And to top it all off, the room doesn’t have a window to the outside, only to the public hallway so your curtains have to stay closed all the time. ???

Location was good. Needs to be remolded . Outdated. Very organized. Didn’t really know what they were doing. Front desk was nice but didn’t have act together. Couldn’t check in the right rooms. . Couldn’t figure out our reservation. Was put in the already remodeled part. But it still look like it needed to be all remodeled. The room was dirty there was old french fries on the floor.. connect shut your curtains very well because the air kept blowing them open or you couldn’t feel the air if you did against. Just older hotel . Does have cool indoor pool. I would keep looking for other lodging for the price. We finished out our stay because we had no choice but next time we were in town, we chose different accommodations..

We were traveling from NJ to attend a wedding followed by a college football game with all of our family. We all came from different states and some of us stayed at Wyndham. Receptionist was friendly and helpful, we drank at the bar and had dinner the first night . Great service! Burgers were good . Breakfast was good . Nice atmosphere and very comfortable area for all of us to get together.

So where to begin with this place.... I stayed earlier in the summer for an early morning procedure at the U of M Hospital, first thing we get told on check in is that the TV's aren't working and will be fixed by the end of the evening. OK fine, we then proceed to our room which smelled of pot leaking in from the hallways. In terms of amenities on my trip, there were none: The pool and hot tub had been closed for over two weeks, the gym was in obvious disrepair and the restaurant and bar were closed as the only person who could run them called in.But that's not the worst part, when 8 PM rolled around and the TV was not fixed, I was told with an attitude it would not been fixed until the day after... I proceeded to check out and was begrudgingly given a refund but they decided to recharge the card a week later, taking the refund away.Much better options are available in Ann Arbor, do avoid.
