Went Labor Day, super busy. Donuts were good, bought some of their preserves. Didn’t stay long, too many kids for my liking.

We love that there’s Veteran parking. CiderDayz was a lot of fun, tons of vendors. We also had drinks & an appetizer in the tasting room, great service and delicious beer. Donuts were on point, can’t wait to come back in the fall!

Blake's is always a great time for people of all ages! I've been a frequent visitor since I was a kid, and now I get to fully enjoy all the events that Blake's puts on. Don't forget your cider and donuts on the way out!

I absolutely cannot stand the Cidermill. I don’t get the hype with this place. I was extremely disappointed with the lavender fest, especially after being misinformed by the people upfront on what was included. I cannot reasoning paying to get into this place and then everything inside is an additional charge. I don’t know what you’re paying for to get in when everything else inside cost extra. There are plenty of other cider mills I prefer to go to that do not charge an entrance fee and just as much stuff to do.

We had dinner at the on-site restaurant. The food and drinks were truly great. However, for a restaurant with sit-down menu prices, I was disappointed to see that everything was disposable even down to the cutlery. While I truly enjoyed my wrap, seeing so much waste will make me think twice before visiting in the future.

Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill
This place was like an amusement park for the kids. Animals, rides, food, etc. Wow. Bar and food for the adults. Wow. Unlike, Spicer, this place has buildings for their business. i.e. building for a bar, etc. Spicer just has food trucks. Plus, the business are open all year round, not just during summer and fall season. You really need to see this place to enjoy it. They have many rides and things for kids to play with. Bring money, you will need it.
Enjoy a train ride or pick apples yourself. Sunflowers! Tomatoes! Pumpkins! Lots of parking space and lots of room. You don't feel crowded. There was about 100-200 cars out today. Nice numbers.
Come here if you are on the Central side of Detroit.
