“This is a pretty interesting place with a lot of types of rocks. One of the owners is very knowledgeable in rocks and will entertain you with many facts around the many selections there. There is also many other antiques in the other building as well. I will go back if I am in the area again”
“Highly recommend the Timer Ridge Inn if you’re visiting the UP! We stayed for a week and have zero complaints. It was less than 20 minutes to almost everything we had planned and the surroundings were so peaceful! The rooms are clean and well insulated from outside noise. Owners were very nice. We found a small wasp nest hidden in the corner of our balcony and they were there to spray it within a few hours.”

“It is a good place to consider staying for a couple of days for the purpose of only sleeping and getting ready for activities around. Cost friendly compared to other motels. Clean place.
Free ice near the office. Office was closed all the time, and the motel is opearted by the Superior Motel on the main road. If you're staying in a room away from the office (8, 9, etc.), you'll hardly get any wifi connectivity as the router is installed by the office. No coffee, fridge, or microwave.”

“Pasties are awesome. Don't hesitate to get a few frozen to take home. Follow the directions for reheating and they will be 97.5% of fresh. Can't wait to get back and restock the freezer!”
