We promptly replied to all of your over the top request. In the meantime you changed the rate and took my Son in law and daughters deposit. There is no way that we could have completed everything you desired in a 48 hour time frame. I will suggest to my children they contact the Better Business Bureau as well as the state attorney general in regard to your policies. This company does not deserve the one star rating I gave but you have to click a star or you can not continue.Doug Huls

David's exceptional service at Auburn Gate Apartments left a lasting impression on us. His unwavering patience in accommodating our specific requests, even as closing time approached, was truly remarkable. Furthermore, we were pleasantly surprised by the immaculate state of our apartment, dispelling any initial concerns raised by some reviews. So far, our experience at Auburn Gate Apartments has been nothing short of wonderful, and we wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to all our family and friends.

The apartments themselves are very nice, but oftentimes we're left waiting for a while for responses to work orders, amenities are also nice but not always up kept, and emails detailing coming events or community updates are never sent out.

Moved in a few weeks ago, had some issues with the fireplace, garage, and closet doors. They made me submit a maintenance ticket to resolve these issues. Due to the holidays it took about a week to resolve but none the less it got resolved. Their promptness was huge and Noah was very good at what he does. I think Auburn Gate has a lot of plus’!

We arrived at our new apartment Saturday. There was a lot of trash on the grounds leading up the entrance. Inside the apartment, we discovered that both bathroom doors do not close properly, which is a clear building code violation. The windows and blinds were filthy. The kitchen cabinets looked like they had been barely wiped down--Everything was very greasy. As a construction professional myself, I would never have passed this apartment for inspection.

I created a maintenance ticket back in August for floors that were starting to peel up at the front door. I provided pictures of the damage that was starting to occur. Obviously a lot of traffic coming and going so I was hoping it would be taken care of timely. I never heard anything. It's mid November now, and just a few weeks ago I got a call asking if the issue was taken care of. It was not. The lady I spoke to said it would be addressed. Never heard back. Then 1 week ago I got another call asking if it had been taken care of. Again, it wasn't. He asked that I send pictures of the damaged floor which I did. Never heard back. Then again I get a call this weekend asking again if it was taken care of. Too which I just said I'm moving out this week so you can come take care of it whenever. I am just worried that I am going to get fined on my deposit when the lease is up. Maintenance is clearly not a strong point here.

Edited:11/13Maintenance originally told us if we still had issues with the dishwasher to submit a new maintenance request. I did this last week, on 11/9.The ticket was closed the next day with the note "the dishwasher works fine."Maintenance never actually visited on this occasion, and our dishwasher does not, in fact, work fine. It doesn't dry, and there's brown watery residue after use.I called the office on Friday, 11/10They apologized and said someone would call to work out a visit on Saturday, 11/11. This didn't happen.I've still not heard anything. Please, y'all have to get your maintenance system working better.11/02They finally responded to my maintenance requests after this review was posted. They are resolving the holes in the screens in the spring, but tended to everything else for us. Giving back one star for now, I hope our experience is better throughout the rest of our time here. I'll keep it updated as we goOriginal:10/30We were former residents that moved out two years ago, regretted leaving, and came back about a month ago.We were very excited to move back, but it has been disappointing. We put in a series of maintenance requests, as when we moved in there were a number of issues (window screens with huge holes, the dishwasher washing with rusty water and not drying, the dryer smells like it's burning, and the washing machine only uses hot water for some reason.)We put some of these tickets in a month ago, and haven't heard back.Today I called to follow up, and was told that maintenance did receive my tickets and were working on things in the order they were received.Again, it's been a month. They could not provide an ETA on maintenance. Very disappointed

So I've seen a lot of things said on both sides of these reviews so I figured as a resident for a year now I would give a honest review, not from a disgruntled person but also not as a paid review :In my experience the staff has been pretty easy to deal with. I've worked with them on a few different occasions and they have been responsive and helpful. There was a small issue with a key at the beginning of my stay but it was eventually resolved. Only wish they did more events or a Unit has been great, very clean and probably one of the best in the area. Maintenance was responsive when needed and no significant issues with any major appliance yet which in a year is pretty good and the appliances are good quality which is nice, best most modern looking apartments in the area! The areas are usually rather clean aside from the dumpsters which are not big enough and seem to overflow every week to a ridiculous degree! One recommendation to the office, get bigger dumpsters or increase pick up days. Aside from that its one of the cleanest grounds in the area and the lawns are VERY well kept and cut often. In the winter time the sidewalks are pretty well kept and they are cleaned and salted often. Only other major complain is the mosquitos I wish they would consider spraying in the late summer, the dog park was almost unusable due to the mosquitos.Pool and work out area are great(Sauna is so nice!) Tennis court is awesome and the gathering spaces are well kept and look very nice! Dog park is sorta lacking wish they had a water spicket out there or maybe even a doggy pool its sorta bland and underwhelming. Same can be said about the "Car washing port" not much there and wish they would put some more creativity into the space(Vacuum, sprayer, garbage can). They are certainly a tad overpriced for the area but its close. Wish they would give more incentives for reupping or more flexibility on payments like flex pay and one month deferring like many other apartment's complexes offer in the area. All in all considering the other points above I would say they are average in this category. Also the payment site isn't that great and I feel the residents portal is lacking in Ironically the biggest issue I have at Auburn gate is the lack of a gate. Had a few times when I've seen people pull in and do hard drugs in the neighborhood and then drive out later, that's not great. The lighting is very good though which is a plus. Being so close to the freeway you do get some transients who wander in from time to time but its rare(Once again gate would probably reduce this). Another problem is the lack egress would be great if their was another exit from the complex! Also they do not give out garage keys which is fine except the doors are completely electric and if the power goes out and your door is closed your screwed. Because of this I know that some people don't like to use their garages creating parking problems for everyone(This should really be fixed!) Besides that I feel very safe here especially compared to other options in the areaOverall 4/5Its a good complex that is certainly above average and if you can float the price it is a nice place to live. I sincerely hope the office looks into some of the recommendations I have made because this would make it certainly worth the price and would make it a five star experience!

The apartment is nice. Utilities work nicely and when we had issues we were promptly supported. The issue was the lack of transparency abiut the garage. I was misled to believe that every apartment had a closed garage when renting, to only discover my unit didn't have the garage after I had moved in. The other issue I had was with HVAC system which blows the air and the noise on the main bedroom's window, which it is the same situation for every apartment. It's a considerable amount of noise, even with the closed window. The best solution would be to rotate the HVAC so the air would blow into the back of the buildings.

Settling down in our new home here at Auburn Gate, has been Awesome!First Impression, Kiara Manley, Leasing Consultant, Excellent!! We came late one evening, it was justabout time for Kiara to leave for the day. She sat us down, went over all the amenities, took us on atour, we chose our apartment, we went online filled out the application, she made sure everything weneeded was processed, and just like that, we were in.Second Impression, David, Leasing Consultant, Oh My Goodness. You all must meet David. If you’veever seen Kevin Hart on tv, David will put you in stitches, no lie! He was very professional, but funny, hetook good care of us. He made sure our leasing papers were completed, provided our keys, garage, maintenance requests information, etc. David, you provided Excellent Service to us, Thank you!Lastly, Jordan Hill, Property Manager, Awesome! She took time out of her busy day, came over andintroduced herself to us. Jordan made us feel right at home, she told us to call her with any issues orconcerns. Talk about customer service experience, Jordan you have an Awesome team at Auburn Gate,Kiara, David and yourself, your service was impeccable.

Auburngate is an outstanding community. We lived there from June, 2020 (yes! Move in was furing Covid19, and the apartment managers were exceptionally careful, caring, and kind!) until Thursday the 24th of August. It was our little dog, Kahlua's, last home, so it will always hold a beautiful place in our hearts. He loved taking long walks throughout the beautiful neighborhood, up to Starbucks, or just to the beautiful overlook. The community is beautiful, and feels more like a neighborhood than an apartment complex. Running to planet fitness or the mall...just minutes away, was so convenient, as was proximity to Meijers, Kroger, all kinds of great restaurants, and I75. The apartments are very nice, move in was immaculate and move out, thanks to assistant property manager, Jordan, was easy.Jordan was kind, understanding, helpful, friendly, and frankly, we could not have asked for a more awesome experience. In the 3 years we were there, I saw the community improve immensely, though it was great even at the beginning. We'd just come back from California for a few months, and didn't plan to stay in Michigan, but COVID changed all of that. When we decided to build rather than buy a house, and the move in to our new house was delayed 4 or 5x, Jordan understood our predicament and supported our process. The activities they've started to have over the last year or so are nice for building community, and we attended a few of them. We hope our band can come play some of thembin the future!Since there are so many improvements going on, the only thing I'd recommend is new windows, as much more heat and air conditioning are lost through them. Also, I think they've started to seal the garages, which makes for better storage experience.I cannot say enough to recommend this wonderful place. Live here! It rocks!! We lived the diversity, the physical aesthetics, and most everything about Auburn Gate!! Thank you!!!

Best apartments I’ve lived at. Had an issue at move in and it was fixed immediately. Any work orders needed have been fixed within a day. Jordan in the office has been very responsive and helped with questions regarding our lease renewal.

Updating with a new review. The complex is creating google accounts to boost their rating. After 2 months there’s still roaches. They came out and fully treated my apartment a week ago. For a few days after I really thought it worked. It didn’t. They’re allowing new tenants to move into infested apartments. They are not allowing current tenants to break their lease with no fee due to these roaches. At this point I’m just biding my time until my lease is up. Bottom line just avoid this place at all costs. I’ve never had an apartment complex with such rude office staff and they are incredibly unwilling to help unless you consistently bother them with calls, emails and going up in person. This place is a huge lawsuit waiting to happen and I’m sure someone will sue eventually.Update: reached out to the contact they provided in their reply on August 15th. It is now August 22nd and I have yet to hear back. They are most likely just trying to save face here. I added new pictures as the roaches seem to be getting bigger.
