My review is based on touring the apartment with Dana. Excellent experience and with his knowledge of buildings beyond the typical leasing manager, I was able to ask a few more specific questions. The only thing that kept me from getting a unit was my large employer suddenly transferred me to another city and made it more difficult to choose Auburn Hills (no work from home for us). But would’ve been at the top of my list if I had stayed in that area. I haven’t seen very many people utilizing the clubhouse or lounges at their apartments in metro Detroit but I saw probably three or four young professionals on their laptops in the lounge and another one in the gym working out. You see that more in a places like Jersey City but because of the quantity of young working professionals. Definitely didn’t have the student dorm vibe I was concerned with a school nearby. Full size washer and dryer too between kitchen and master bathroom.

The deposit of $260.00 I had to dispute through my banking institution since Kari lied about issuing me a refund while holding onto my deposit for the apartment after waiting almost 2 weeks for a refund during my application process the communication is terrible after you pay the deposit they take your money you can’t get in contact with them even through the third party system for five points to get a call back they will never call you back . My banking institution said there was no trace of a refund being processed or issued by Kari which is crazy to lie about .If I cancelled my application on November 29th and you said (Kari) you were issuing me a refund on December 5th how were you even able to pull my money from a refund to start a new application process because the money was never refunded .
Why is the staff members even attempting to steal applicants application fees .
Dana has a nasty attitude and showed his true colors after canceling my application , while constantly talking over me on the phone and threaten to hang the phone up on me after saying I didn’t want to continue the process on a recorded line showing his backside .
I wouldn’t lease with them at all it’s a reason why it’s so many units available and not enough people in them and just a bunch of wolves in sheep’s clothing and just bad for business I’m pretty sure the reviews they have are forced and asked for by five points apartments for a discount not because people are genuinely satisfied with the service but to hide the bad reviews

Dana was such a wonderful tour guide! Dana was very kind and very knowledgeable. We toured the office and all of the amenities that are offered there. We walked to the apartment units and it was nice because dana was able to point out important amenities offered - for example, the garages and several dumpsters located for the convenience.
Dana answered all of my questions and was very personable which made us feel comfortable.
It was a pleasure meeting Dana and I’m glad that it is easy to reach out if I have any questions!

This was the best apartment experience we have ever had. The apartments are very nice, the community is super quiet, and we NEVER heard neighbors through the walls which is always a downside of apartment living. Extremely quiet at five points and we loved the layout of our apartment! The gym is small but nice and I pretty much always had it to myself. The pool is awesome during the summer. Maintenance is extremely nice, and Dana and Karri were very helpful and always remembered our names! Really really great place to live!

I stayed at 5 Points Apartments for two years, and the experience was incredible. The place is secluded yet close to everything you need, with all the amenities one could ask for. The staff, especially Dana, the office assistant, are incredibly helpful and always available when needed. Dana is a remarkable guy with exceptional management skills and a friendly demeanor. The maintenance team, led by Scott, is always on top of their game. Scott is very courteous and prompt in addressing work orders, even when they have a heavy workload. Overall, 5 Points Apartments is a fantastic place to live!

Amazing place to live, Dana is great and maintenance is always very quick to respond and fix the issue. No noise issues, pool well kept, lobby well kept, very nice area to live!

Definitely the nicest apartments in the area. I appreciate Dana the leasing agent who was able to work with us to sign our ideal lease and contacted us when my optimal date of moving was available. Very pleased with the amenities and service!

I had to come back and redo my review as our moveout process has been the worst process ever. We had been told from the property manager Kerry that we had recieved a tennent who was going to move into our appartment. All was good. The new tennent canceled their lease which makes us still have to pay for our lease. The property managers never let us know that this had happened. A month later, we had still not recieved our security deposit, so I called Kerry to ask her what was going on with our lease. It was then that she told me the tennents who were supposed to move in had canceled and she will not communicate with us until our appartment gets filled with new tennents. She informed us that if we had not paid, we would have been sent to COLLECTIONS. She said that they would only communicate with us by mail. They said we never provided our forwarding address, but we had seen them type in our address and verified that it was correct when we had returned the keys to our appartment.When asked when the payement was due, she said it was a lump sum that was due, but she cannot let us know how much the lump sum is until the forwarding address was provided. The phonecall I had with Kerry was very passive agressive and as she was not trying to assist in rectifying the situation, I felt the need to write this redo my review. Please let the consumer know if he/she owes your business money without threatening collections.If you live/want to live here just know that the property managers will treat you well UNTIL you move out. The second that you do, they no longer care about the word of mouth business that you will spread to future applicants.The only positive is that Dana is still a great property manager.

My experience living here for the last few months has been nothing short of amazing! From the day I walked in to inquire about an apartment here to present, Dana has always been really helpful. The environment is always clean and welcoming. The maintenance guys (Scott) are on top of their game to fix anything needed. I couldn’t be happier I choose to live here!

I lived here for the past 3 years, absolutely love the apartment. The apartment first of all is very clean, modern and spacious. It has lots of storage, including walk-in closets and storage cabinets, which I found great as it saved me extra dollars buying rackets and drawers. Love the fast maintenance service, and friendly management company. There’s in unit laundry, heavy duty washer and dryer that I’ve loved and missed. The covered parking is only for 30 bucks.

We love living here! Dana is the absolute the best. He is always willing to help, is great at communicating, and makes a huge difference at this complex. We are very thankful for his help and also the summer events!
