Don't ever take your Toyota here for service if it's an hour before closing time. For some reason, no technician is available and there are no loaner cars available. At least not for me (with my black self). No help whatsoever. Screw Fox Toyota.

Service is a complete and total scam! Wife went in for the free oil change and tire rotation, and they told her she was overdue for fuel cleaning. $285 later she has snake oil in fuel tank and oil reservoir, and they didn't even do the oil change.

Craig saved the day! Honestly I was not in the market for a new car, I was going to keep the one I had forever! That is not what ended up happening. It got really old and suddenly all of the items that needed to be done to maintain it would have cost a large chunk of a down payment on a new car. Unfortunately, we are in a weird time where there are no cars! The supply of cars is down and the need for one is way up. I originally wanted a used car, that is what I had previously purchased. But due to the supply chain shortage, most used cars, even quite old ones with high mileage, cost exactly the same as a new car or only a couple thousand dollars less for something less reliable. I called around many dealers all most of the cars on their web sites were sold before they could even take down the pictures. I was extremely lost! Finally I called Fox and Craig asked why not just buy a new car? He not only took down my information, he called me the second they had a list of new cars coming out and reserved one for me. I was also worried, because a lot of people have lately reserved cars then dealers sell them to other buyers, but not this place. They were very faithful and honest. They also did not charge over the MSRP. Many dealers right now are charging thousands above the listed manufacture price all over the country. Plus they made turning in a car and getting a new one seamless. The last time I bought a car they tried to get me to buy a lot of extras and kept bothering me with sales pitches like those in the past who have tried to sell me time shares. Not here. The finance gentleman was honest and quick and gave me honest answers about the financing since that is a mess too right now for borrowers. So my entire experience from panic to finish was great. It was really not what I wanted to do right now since times are tough, but Fox came through for me when I was in a terrible bind and I really appreciate it. I would go through them again.

I write this as I am still sitting here. I made an appointment for routine maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) and it was been 2 hours. This is ridiculous as this should take 30 minutes. I would never come again but I unfortunately bought the 'Fox Care' plan so must waste hours of my day another 2 times so I can use the services I already purchased.

On 12/23/21, I hit a pothole and got a flat tire. I have a 2022 vehicle and it comes with roadside assistance so I called them to tow me to my local Fox Toyota. I had purchased a vehicle from Chevrolet by Fox the next building over and had always had great service there. Not at Fox Toyota. I knew they would be closed for the holiday weekend and I knew it was my fault for putting off buying a spare on my own. The rest is on them. Please also bear in mind, I am the only person on the title of my vehicle and on the financing. On 12/27/21, I called Fox Toyota service dept and was transferred to Mike who denied having a bright blue vehicle on premises, even stating he sent the Porter out to go check. He transferred me to the body shop and I spoke to Ken, who is quite honestly the only competent and decent human being I spoke to at Fox. The man is truly above and beyond great. But that's the body shop and not the point of this review. Back to incompetent Mike: he further denied my vehicle was there and told me that tow truck companies keep cars on their lots over long weekends all the time to charge roadside assistance extra money. So I had to track down who Toyota sent me, only it is a failing business who has a full voicemail box and when he finally called back said he wouldn't talk to me, only my husband (who doesn't own the car). The failing tow truck business owner sent us video and pictures of his driver not only dropping my car off gently as you do on a flat, but placing the key fob into the night deposit box. This is important. Fox Toyota had me spending 5+ hours tracking down my vehicle only to find it was within sight of their window. When going into the service department, again asked about blue car. "We don't have one" only to ask what my car was doing out the window then. "Oh, we didn't have the keys." If you had the car, just say so. If you didn't have keys, just say so. Don't lie and cause panic! This is why I'm livid now. For some reason, they made a big deal of "checking the night key deposit box again" and lo and behold my keys. These fools cost me a day of work to track my car down which resulted in another day delay in getting my car back. To make matters worse, the Porter then got into my car like he was going to drive it into the service bay on a flat tire. He had no idea it was flat. Idk how out of it one has to be not to notice the whole vehicle tilting oddly but whatever. Then Mike told my husband that he would give us a $10 discount.... Today, I pick up the vehicle to find no discount, a filthy grimy gear shifter with god only knows what on it, no manager on site to remedy my situation, and terrible customer service. Mike Toussaint couldn't be more incompetent if he tried. I was gouged on the price of the tire too! I had to pay double what other places charge for the same thing! If I had my choice of where to do business, I would only deal with Fox Chevrolet or the body shop because the only person who was kind, respectful, understanding and everything I would hope for in customer service was Ken.

If I could give this place a zero, I would!!! Worst place EVER to get a vehicle. No call backs from sales people, managers won't even talk to you, and I even had to ask for a higher up, Mike, who also was a dud!!! If you want to be disrespected, treated like garbage, and like being lied to....then this is your place. Do yourself a favor and go to a different dealership. They must think that because they are in Rochester, they are better than others......

I contacted Fox Toyota of Rochester by email about a 2021 RAV4 hybrid that was listed on CarGurus (and other online car sites) at a price that was attractive enough to make the 1.5 hr drive (one-way) from my home. They followed up by phone after receiving my CarGurus email and said they had gotten several other inquiries and so I should come in for a test drive as soon as possible. So I decided make the trip alone the following morning, even tho' my wife and I would have to return the following evening to pick up the vehicle because that was the earliest she was free. When I arrived I noticed the sticker price was $3000 higher than the CarGurus price. I expressed my concern to the sales person who looked up the vehicle on their website and found it listed at the same (lower) price I saw on CarGurus. Instead of honoring the price, he said he would need to talk to his manager. The manager subsequently told me that their "web person" had entered a $3000 manufacturer's incentive in error and that he had been trying to get it changed for three days. He then made me an offer that was still $2000 above the web price and no better than what any other customer would have gotten. A classic bait and switch. Needless to say, I was livid, and can only conclude three things about this dealership: 1) they are incompetent, because after three days of knowing about it, they could still not correct the price error; 2) they are devious, because they knew about the error but made no attempt to tell me about it until I drove and hour and half and was a captive customer; and 3) they value profit over customer satisfaction, because they made no attempt to take responsibility for their error and honor the web price once I was there. I would strongly recommend anyone considering a purchase from Fox Toyota to look for a more reputable dealer.

service used to be great! The same level of competence does not exist. I've used this dealership the past 12 years and won't be back.

Went in for some services and had a great experience. There was an issue in pricing at the end, however Nathan from Toyota did a great job resolving the issue for me. Would recommend:)

Bought 2 cars here previously and wanted to get into a bigger truck to pull with. With not much experience in pickups I returned there twice to scope them out. I drive almost an hour just for this dealer and get blown off both times by a new hot shot salesman that didn't have time for me. I literally had to chase him down to be told he was to busy with his kids (who brings there kids to work at a car dealership?) . Ended up at Golling Toyota in warren and bought 2021 Tacoma sport. Should've showed some interest in your customers and not letting staff try and judge the book by it's cover.

This place and the Volkswagen store next door I would steer away from & be really cautious to walk on the parking lot when shopping for a new vehicle. They lie & advertise cars for a sale price & will quote a $2k higher price when you get there & act like they don't have a clue what's going on when they list their advertising. car wasn't even detailed and needed an alignment, Beware!

I've had great experience with the service department. They do a thorough job and are very helpful. I've been taking my Highlander there for almost 5 years.

Over a year ago I posted about how great this company is. Well two weeks ago I brought my car in for a oil change. I my normal service guy was not there so I had to deal with a new guy. The guy was rude and seemed to not want to write up my car. Finally he took my keys after telling him I am ok with waiting. After my car was done he told me I need new back brakes. Ok thanks car has almost 190000 miles on it ok maybe it's time. Well 2 weeks later I finally had time to take it to a brake shop. The shop looked at my brakes and said you have 70% on front and 80% left on the back. Well Thanks Fox's Toyota from 2016 till today I have been a loyal customer. After today and finding this out I will never be back. If you are reading this review please get a second opinion on whatever repair Fox Toyota is telling you. I guess with the update on building they need to screw customers over for money
