I have called this place several times for service since I live only a few blocks away. I have had many things needed done. And much work for them, which is obviously not needed. Left many messages and never a courtesy of a return call. Have stopped in personally. And never open. Sign says appt. Only. But don't return calls to make appt. Sad way to run a business. I'll never suggest this place to anyone.

Joann did a fabulous job on my wedding dress. She was able to accommodate my schedule and complete my alterations in plenty of time. She has such a kind heart and makes you feel welcomed at the shop. She sure did work her magic on my dress taking it in but paying careful attention to the beading as well as adding a beautiful bustle.

Accommodated my crazy schedule and helped me make my wedding day so special. She helped by altering a denim jacket and knocked it out of the ball park! Everyone was awed by the unique design that she helped create out of an ordinary jacket. She made my dress fit PERFECTLY! Pleasant and gives you her honest opinion which is hard to come by these days. When it comes to a skilled trade, I value the opinions of the professional.

I was very grateful for the prompt service. She gave honest opinions and helped make my wedding day so special by altering a denim jacket in a way that I have never seen before. Everyone LOVED it! Very accommodating with my schedule as well since I lived across the state. Price was also lower than other competitors.

I couldn't recommend this service less. Born and raised in a small town, I am a full believer in supporting small businesses whenever possible. But the problem with small businesses that this place goes OUT OF THEIR WAY TO EMPHASIZE is there is no regulation for customer service. I called the Anne's Alterations number (located in the same building, as you can read other reviews there are 2 businesses trying to join and share one space), spoke to Anne who was very professional, quoted me a price for my two blazers that only required sleeve hemming, and I agreed to it. When I arrived that afternoon, only Joanne was there. She tried to quote me over twice what Anne quoted me over the phone. I was very (exceedingly for the way I was being treated) polite and questioned to check that as that was not what I had been told over the phone that morning. She started arguing with me and as I went to leave (blazers in hand) Joanne "happened" to look at a chart on the desk and go "Oh, that was the price for a winter coat." She didn't even apologize!! At this point in retrospect I really should have walked out but my normal gal in Kawkawlin (who is AMAZING) was gone for the next few months and I really needed the alterations done. Anyway, she tried to get me to pay up front for the blazers but I said I would pay when they were finished. She then kept me in the store for almost 15 minutes more talking to me about things I had not inquired about, including her personal life as well as pushing her political views on me. After trying my best to be polite I finally managed to excuse myself and nearly RUN out of the store in an attempt to be free. It took almost a month for the two blazers to be finished. They were fine. Just fine. Nothing spectacular but definitely not worth the hassle when there are other small businesses down the road taking much better care of their customers.
