“We love our Dollar General Stores! It doesn't seem to matter what small town we're in -- there is always a Dollar General store, and they have some of the friendliest staff in these rural Dollar Generals, too! The staff that I have encountered are following the mask rules and are still friendly, courteous, and helpful! Some things that we've had difficulty finding in the larger stores during Covid, we've found at Dollar General stores!”
“I'm amazed everytime I walk into this particular Family Dollar. So clean, neat and organized with bright lighting. Every associate has greeted me with kindness and respect. Everytime I walk out the door like a happy customer. All of you who work at the 20th/Columbia location in Battle Creek.... Hats off to you!! Great job and Thank You for working so hard.”
“I have been here since this review and it’s completely different . Employees are the sweetest and everything’s well put together! They now have a produce section which is amazing! Love the manger and just overall a good DG to go to!”
“I was in the store 1/23/2023 early afternoon. When I walked in something was different , it seemed cleaner and brighter. As we began walking down an isle I realized the nasty gross carpet was gone , replaced by floor tiles.Wow somebody figured it out , honestly I really didn't like going in the store because it seemed dirty all the time. Tiles flooring should have been put down in beginning , so much easier to keep clean . Now I have no reservations about shopping at Dollar Tree . Thanks from a friendly consumer .”
“This DG has the most helpful and friendly staff! Always end up striking a friendly conversation with them ?
However I do not like how corporate treats them. They are forced to run between stocking shelves and running the register all day. Like they have to literally jog from one to another. Hire an extra person to be a cashier!!!”
“While it does seem a little cluttered, I have yet to go there and not find what I needed. The arts and craft isle is good to know if your kids have a school project.”
“Stopped here on my way home from Full Blast in Battle Creek, Michigan. It was newly remodeled and well stocked, had everything I needed and I spent a little over $10!”
“Well it was stocked with lots of selections. But no more $1 items. Had frozen food as well as clothing and usual household, craft items. Much better than Dollar General.”
“On Monday the 19th we stopped at the $ General. Our truck would not start after turning it off. Jose was on shift that day - He was so helpful and rushed outside and moved his truck and we were able to jump our vehicle. We were so appreciative and he did so w/a smile and genuine kindness. We offered him a 'tip' which he refused. Thank you again Jose for your help. Chris and Steve Bigelow”
“Super friendly cashier. I found hanging solar lanterns for $2 each so I grabbed the entire box and carried around the store to the Windex aisle where my clumsy self dropped them all over. Cashier was stocking shelves and asked if I needed help and could he help me find anything. There were some empty shelves but mostly with end of season items. No stock laying on the floor. No spills or dirtiness. There was a horn at the checkout to alert the cashier someone was ready to go and he came up right away without delay.”
“My friend and I always have to go to the dollor general on w. Columbia ave. There's a Cashier there named Josh, he is so friendly, polite and cares about his Customers. We so appreciate him. He's a KEEPER. Give him a gift card or something to show that you appreciate his work ethics. Thank you.”
“Everyone at this location is incredible but Ashley goes above and beyond. The store is the cleanest and most organized DG ive ever been in. She is always working tirelessly with a smile on her face, she never treats her customers like an inconvience and is always happy to help.”
