Based on the reviews, Bad Axe Laundry Room is a very well maintained and always clean establishment. The washers look clean on the inside and not falling apart. The machines are priced right with fair prices: $1.50 to wash and $.50 cents to start the dryer then $.25 cents for 7 minutes. Laundry is dried fast. The business offers many services, sells detergent and dryer sheets, and has a coin exchange that actually works. There are lots of choices of machines, including regular, large, and extra large, plus an extractor for quilts and comforters. The staff is friendly and pleasant, and the attendant keeps busy cleaning, even cleaning the lint trays after every dryer use. Customers felt safe to leave laundry unattended. However, some reviews noted that half the washers and dryers were out of order, and some dryers had clothes sitting in them for an entire time. If a machine is not operating, it will have a sign on it, and any problems are addressed by telling the staff for a refund. The convenience of wash, dry, and fold is very quick.

Clean space. Friendly staff. It's an easy place to drop off dry cleaning. They charge a deposit and if the actual cost is more or less you just settle it at pickup. Wash and fold is a nice touch! I've had a couple issues but the new owner contacted me and resolved them promptly. I hope they continue to improve!
