I am embarresed for this store manager and the employees.I was I overcharged and rung up incorrectly. Luckily I checked my receipt before leaving because the cashier had never been trained in how to process the app on my phone for check out. So I wanted to make sure things were right so I checked before leaving.Sure enough my suspicion was right they charged me for multiple times for 1 item. I asked the cashier to return as for some reason a different cashier took over it was the 3rd cashier in a half hour. Kinda strange. But that wasn't the problem.The manager came over and told the cashier to leave instead of any apology or consolation I was told they would give me a store credit instead of giving me my money back?I'm sorry WHAT?????? You made a error and want to give me a store credit? What world are you in.Then the manager Josh Whalen says if they give me my money back either he or the cashier will be fired????Again WHATTTTTT????.??? You can not give me my money returned to my debit card that you improperly charged me for because you will be fired. I guess he thought I should say OK take the store credit but I didnt. I said I dont care (mostly because I wasnt buying this BS) but somehow I'm going to get you fired for returning my money you illegally took from me????He said he had no other way to return my money to me????Isnt that illegal?????After standing there arguing with him for 5 minutes I decided to return the items.I did not get an apology at anytime.Rather he stated he felt I was angry when he came over. Well duh I was over charged and after shopping in the store about 45 minutes I had to argue with you to get my money back and you refused to give it to me. As such I had him return the entire order.Furthermore the same cashier a few days earlier Amy, overloaded my bags I asked if she will seperate the items into seperate bags because they were overloaded with those super thin bags, when she wouldnt I took it upon myself to bag my items. While she continued to ring items she again was stuffing the bags I had separated into several bags. I asked her again please not to do that the skimpy bags will break. And again she continued to stuff the bags?????I said I am the customer here right? I felt she had some sort of attitude about me and I was in awe that she ignored my request to use more bags and continued to add products in after I seperate the stuff as I had a lot of heavy shampoos, conditioners and soaps.I feel the 2nd trip I was profiled as I had the app opened in the store and the staff and manager Josh decided to really try and upset me because he sent me a email asking how my experience was and I in detail told him he sent a reply stating he had a talk with her but gave me awful and unlawful service while I was there again 5 days later.Can you believe the store manager Josh Whalen??? Manager of the store telling u if they return your money that they charged in error he or his cashier will be fired for returning money???Me either but it indeed happened to me at this store.

I went there to get some vitamins and the cashier asked if I had a rewards card. I said I hadn't used it in a while. She opened a new account and I saved $32 dollars!!! She didn't have to do that and I really appreciated it!!!!

Walgreens has always been so good to me. I’ve visited several locations, each and every one gave me amazing service, friendly, helpful and caring. I mean what more can you ask? I want to thank you Walgreens, each and every one of you, for being the wonderful people you are!

I have been calling about my insulin and a discount card since Friday. I have been told to call back, I have been told oh it is $25 but not available. I have been told that is impossible they wouldn't say that. So now on Monday I have none of my prescriptions...they wanted to charge me $100 more for having a discount card...this is a game for them. They mocked me for mispronouncing my medicine... disgusting...I called three times went back twice and every time it was different but still wrong. Warning this is the last place anyone should go. Someday a large law firm will take all they have.After I posted I read some reviews.. usually not one to look but I did and also contacted friends..wow..can not believe how this community has let this happen..I am so frightened for those who can not speak up..wow...I am overwhelmed with how this company is killing our society...please go elsewhere.

I just spent over $50 for two home test kits for covid-19 to find out I have been overcharged almost double Walmart Kroger Meijer also them for $14 I feel Walgreens is taking advantage of the pandemic and they should be ashamed of themselves

I bring my mother here on a weekly basis for her OTC supplements (love the bogo 50% off on all vitamins/supplements) and her cigarettes. I prefer going here when we only need a few items so we don't have to deal with the traffic and crowds at Walmart or Meijer. It's usually quick in-and-out And quite convenient. I love their rewards program And I save up my cash rewards To purchase items Needed When I'm broke. Lol ? I'm also partial to the store because my daughter, Dani, recently got hired to train for pharmacy assistant when she turns 18 in October. I don't deal with the pharmacy that often, this review is just of the store in general. I also love their makeup and beauty selection. Employees keep a close eye I'm that section and I never have to worry about Buying makeup That has been opened or used. That is a big problem at Walmart. Almost every palette has been opened and swatched or returned at Walmart. It's not like that at all at Walgreens!!! I will always shop here regardless of whether my daughter works there or not lol

Horrible customer service. I understand your break is at 1:30 PM but when you have 4 cars in the drive thru you should take care of your customers first. Really ruined my day. Next time i'll go to meijer.

I picked up 2 Dove hand sanitizers at 2.99 each for the travel size. When I got them home, one of them was half gone and you can tell after looking at it that it was used.

Horrible experience with staff at pharmacy besides Chelsea she was sweet to my pregnant wife helped alot and had a great attitude i would ask for her when I go there.

This place SUCKED especially when you go too the Pharmacy!!! I asked about a Government Plan known as a 340B plan & they told me they knew nothing about any such programs at all. That's why I transferred my prescriptions to another Pharmacy. They told me that my,prescription co-pay for the medication would be $1200.dollars, Very Strange for a 90 day supply of medicine, that I found later at another Pharmacy for $421.05, 90 day supply ? WTH!!!??? When I asked why it would cost me that $1200.dollars,they told me that that's what it would be again! Then I asked the cashier what should I Do? She & the Head PHARMACIST told me just too pay for it,or leave? I'm not quite sure what their PROBLEM IS BUT IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!That my friends you can take too the bank for sure! I know for a Fact that ,the U.S. GOVERNMENT gave Walgreens Pharmacy's a Grant too help ,people like myself get the medication that we all need to have in order to survive life threatening situations. But at WALGREENS IN BAD AXE, MICHIGAN They just don't CARE?!!

I was sent to Walgreens pharmacy to pick up a script for my sister. As I waited in the drive thru, I watched the pharmacist cough in his hand, wipe his nose and then open a pill vial, dump the drugs in the same hand and count the meds and put the drugs back in the vial for some poor patient to consume the contaminated drugs. It made me sick to see this. I had asked the tech why he put the drug in his hands and she said he had to count them. The whole bunch needs to be fired. They are to use there blue tray SO they do not touch the meds. This all happed at the Bad Axe, Michigan Walgreens
