Located less than half a mile from the "Flies Only" Section M-37 boat launch, 1884 Fly Shop is the destination fly shop in the area. It offers the most extensive inventory for all fly fishing and switch/swing/spey needs, including a very good selection of flies, fly tying materials, and high-end apparel, plus a small cigar humidor. The shop is super clean, organized, and a very cool, all-round nice setup. The primary mission is to provide service to anglers of all skill levels in a friendly, vibrant atmosphere. The staff is helpful and very knowledgeable, providing excellent guidance. The shop also offers full and half-day guided fly fishing trips on the Pere Marquette and other Northern Michigan rivers for year-round trout, as well as warm water trips. These guided experiences are highly recommended, with passionate staff doing everything possible to ensure a great chance at success, creating one of the coolest trips an angler can experience.
