Delivery was not as scheduled. Had to call to remind driver of the delivery. Driver was supposed to call before delivery and did not. Driver seemed as though he was doing us a favor for delivering $1500.00+ of fuel. My account had a balance of $1,200.00 prior to delivery. We have be been customers for over 35 years. Not a good experience.

The front line staff is great, the phone system is one of the worst I have ever encountered. They made it almost impossible for me to order propane.....sure miss the days of calling and speaking to a human! I am looking for a company that still talks to ya!

So I am currently looking for a propane company and seeing what everyone has or doesn’t like for making a decision. I am with Ferrell Gas at the moment but till the tank runs out I will be switching for a long list of reasons. Being this last experience is the final straw and if anyone can relate to add there story as well. But I had my tank filled and yes by the time they got to it the tank was at 0 to which many know how expensive a fill is (paid 885 for it to be at 50% of a 500gl tank have all my receipts for proof as well). The driver did a pressure test as he should but the time he came to fill I was tryna sleep being I am third shifter yet I was aware he was here. So I did get up after he left to grab the receipt to check things since last time the driver didn’t stop the fill in time and I was charged for his mistake than. But in the folder a tiny card had danger gas leak tank is shut off, I called Ferrell asap and they had no idea since he didn’t put it in the system right away. They said they would get ahold of him and get back to me, they never got back to me, that driver ended up leaving me a voicemail an hour later stating there’s a leak somewhere. He didn’t say where it could be but later that day, even though previously didn’t say where it was, put in his notes it was my appliances. But he never came inside to shut off my stove and even them could’ve determined if it was actually my appliances. I called many many heating and cooling companies to see someone to come out to figure out the leak and get my tank back on. Wasn’t able to find anyone in time so I went another day without heat in the house and the next morning as in today I was able to get a company out right away. They showed up and where confused by the drivers process in his findings, they checked my end of appliances and the house for a leak. They found no leaks for the places I was responsible for, the tank is Ferrell responsibility as i don’t own the tank just like anything you rent they are to take repairs. The heating and cooling guys did find the leak on the regulator right at the tank, (showed me as it was bubbling out when he put soap and water at the hose part attached to the regulator). I called Ferrell the heating/cooling guys explained how it’s their equipment not anything on my end, since I moved here two years ago this would be the third time I’ve had a problem with the regulator (twice in the past the same guy “fixed” it) but now they are refusing to repair the leak and even threatened to take my tank away. This is something they are at fault for and refuse to reimburse the unnecessary service call, the gas that’s leaked out, and to even talk further with us. The driver made a mistake and they will not own up to their faulty equipment, so many precautions could’ve been made to prevent this mess on their end. He could’ve even knocked on my door, called Ferrellgas to get ahold of me ASAP while he was there, checked their regulator. I went these last few days without heat as they said I need to talk to them with respect they need to understand we are humans and want these wrongs to be righted since I’ve had nothing more than a sorry nothing more we can do is all they got for us. I pulled money out my pocket to find out it was their fault and not mine yet they see it as it being my responsibility. I think to myself as my siblings have little ones how they would’ve been treated as I have yet they would’ve suffered as for nothing.

If I could give them a 0 I would. I woke up to no propane in my pig, called them in baldwin to see if they would come do an emergency fill an they told me I’ll have to wait till Monday at the earliest. It’s 12 degree outside and it doesn’t seem to matter to the company that we are without heat for the next however long. Very disappointed we have no choice but to stay here and deal with it. I hope you guys enjoy letting families freeze on the coldest nights is the year!

Free market competition is the best form of regulation, don't complain. DOUBLE CHARGED ME FOR RENTAL OF TANK, BEGINNING AND END OF YEAR. DO NOT GO ON AUTOFILL, FILL WHEN YOU DON'T NEED IT.Went to competition $1 less normal price. Competition is the best form of regulation.
