My partner and I stayed in the picker's shack on this farm which is listed as the Fisteris on AirBnB, unfortunately I could not post these photos of the tubs there, but I have genuine concern for others who may bathe in them. Please consider the risk of lead exposure in these rusted out cast-iron tubs, which is potentially also leaching into the drinking well (the tap is right next to the tubs which are emptied onto the groud). Please do not bath your children or drink the water here until it is verified to be free of lead. Thank you

It’s July 6, still early. Joe’s main location didn’t have ripe blueberries to pick yet, so he sent us to a secondary location. That location wasn’t marked so well, so we didn’t end up picking anything today. Joe gave us a 5lb box of amazing, fresh, Michigan blueberries to make up for the trouble. He was very apologetic. That box of blueberries was unexpected and overly generous. We’ll know to pick later in July next time.

Picking was excellent. Three of us picked 90 pounds in 4 hours. Lady running the stand was very helpful. As with many upicks watch out for the poison ivy. Nature on the whole is full of it.
