Hanka Homestead Museum is a true time capsule and a great place to visit to see how life was in the old days. It is a cute little outdoor museum on a beautiful property, a super neat stop off the beaten path. The tours are insightful and informative, with fantastic tour guides. It is a real part of preserved history, perfect for a little stroll. The museum is also dog friendly. Visitors find it very cool and highly recommend it.

Visited on Wednesday, when they were closed. Enjoyed doing a self your with nobody else around. Bear poop on the boardwalk trail💩.

Very nice seeing traditional Finnish life in the Americas preserved as it was when diaspora first got around to the Keweenaw!
