The Pines Convenience Center is known for offering the cheapest gas prices in the area, often below $4, which many customers appreciate. It is one of the few stations with a free, functioning air pump for tires, making it especially convenient. The store has a small cooking area where customers can buy cooked food, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the inside of the store is not very nice, and some pumps may not work, with confusing directions around the pumps. The gas station has experienced issues like card reader problems and spiders on the pumps, but the overall affordability and the free air pump make it a popular choice for travelers. Many customers have saved money over the years and consider it a reliable spot for fueling up in the upper peninsula.
Great fuel prices and really kind staff! I needed a phone charger and got a great deal on a very sturdy charger, ended up coming back the next day to get one for my sister too. Great place!
