This store is a gem of a hardware store. Unlike the high priced franchise stores that never have what you’re looking for, this place probably has it or they’ll get it for you. I recently had to run around to 3 franchise stores to find copper plumbing parts to make a repair. The reason I had to go to 3 was because no one had exactly what I was looking for and there wasn’t a sole in sight to ask for assistance. I found this shop, ran in found everything I needed and more. If you can, avoid the franchises and drive to this gem to get what you need, stores like this need to stay in our communities because they are the backbone of DIY work.

This is the best everything you need store. The staff is very polite, help you when you can't find what you are looking for, it's there you just have to ask. The owner Jim also goes out of his way to find and get you what you need when you need it. even if that means going home to get it, to save the day! Thanks Jim, your the best

Best hardware store in Baraga county. You need it they have it. Old school shelving and sales so make sure you take your time to try and find what is needed. They also sell a small amount of guns and bait for those looking to pick up extras before hitting the stands or water.

An actual real, old fashioned hardware store. It is small but it's packed with most of what you would need to do you're home repairs.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Old time, family-owned for years kind of store. Basically have everything you need and open till 8pm where most stores close at 5pm.

Great local shop. If they don't have, they can get it, or you don't really need it. Friendly staff, always ready to talk about the local area and everything the Bay area has to offer. If you are planning on hunting, fishing, or any other recreational activity, add Wilkie's to your short list of places to go.
