“Very caring and knowledgeable staff. Veterinarians are friendly, gentle with my pets and very good about explaining what they are doing. They go into detail about follow-up care.”

“Took my little chihuahua there for a dental. Staff was great. Very kind and understanding! Rebecca at the front desk kept me very up to date through the whole process and made it some much easier for me to leave my whole heart in their hands! Dr Blesy was very nice and has a very calming aura about him that I think helped my dog and myself to feel confident and comfortable about the procedure. Would 100 percent recommend them!”
“They are so sweet and gentle with my 3 kitties. They have been a great support from having the cat food I need when mine doesn't ship on time to the typical vet appointment to quick tips and advice when needed.”
“We recently had to say good bye to our sweet Scooter. Contrary to the other review posted here, the doctor and staff made this heartbreaking decision comforting and as easy as possible.”

“We love taking my senior dog to Dr Merle.❤️ It is a pleasure to see everyone in the office. They are thorough and really listen to our concerns and give us the answers needed to care for Annie. ❤️❤️❤️”
“we have a lot of kitties and take them here for vet care. we had to put down our elderly cat after many visits for terminal illness. I truly feel like he passed in the most peaceful way he could have and while I was heartbroken, seeing him pass so calmly made the experience much less traumatic for both our sweet old kitty and us. I had been scared for this for years since his first health scare, even more so since his illness progressed and significantly worsened in the past month, and it truly felt much less scary during our visits to treat his illness with how helpful and well informed the vet Dr.Helgoth is. the staff are very patient and compassionate and answer my questions even though I tend to ask a lot of questions. We've had cats for a while together and have taken them to a few vets over the years as we have moved and in general the experience here has been more personable and good. As someone who has lived in areas where vet care is exorbitantly expensive near a city, upwards of $150 for just an exam, their prices for standard vet care are also very reasonable (usually full exams with standard vaccines is less than $100). I don't know if they are the cheapest vet in the area, but multiple exam visits, medications, fluids, antibiotic shot, ultrasound, two full blood work panels (which they do in about 15 minutes in-house) and urinalysis ran us about $900 over several weeks. Which sounds scary but he really did receive a lot of treatment and medication. I am less concerned about the price to help my kitties, but i do feel it is pretty reasonable. While there is sometimes a wait for normal exams or illness check ins (usually 1-2 weeks out) they were able to squeeze us in for our euthanasia appointment last second when circumstances meant it had to be done on short notice. I recommend this vet.”
“My pets (horses, dogs, cats) have been getting their medical care from Berrien Vet for many years and there's a reason for that... they're awesome! They always answer all of my questions and are reasonable in their approach to a problem. Recently, I also left with a thorough, personalized, explanation letter regarding the visit and any followup. It made it clear that the vet had heard and remembered everything we'd discussed. It also made my next steps very clear in case I might have missed or forgotten something spoken. I really liked that.”
