I came to Battle Creek from Toledo for an event at the Leila Arboretum. My low oil pressure light came on just as I got to Battle Creek earlier in the day. I am a vendor & had to be there, so I did not get a chance to address it until nearly midnight. They sold me the needed oil, but I found the oil cap on the car was horrendously stuck. The outside lights go off & they began to close for the night. I was overtired, underfed, 150 miles from home at midnight, it was still super hot out, & I was about to lose my dang mind ☹️ The two young gentlemen who were working there came out & stayed late to help me, & one of them finally succeeded in unsticking the cap. I made it back to Toledo safely & w/ engine intact because these two young men were kind enough to simply help a stranger at midnight. They were awfully funny too lol. I was super lucky to have run into them!!! Thank you!!!

I filled my tank today and paid at the pump. That was a huge mistake! 58.00 gas later before bed I check my bank app and found another transaction for 100.00 that I clearly did not make. I somehow got skimmed or scammed. This is unacceptable! Never gone there before today, I sure will be going back tommorrow to get a refund back on my card! Then i'll never be back. Disgusting. One time I use a different gas station & next thing you know, someone is draining my bank act. Shameful.

I'm not going to be too critical here and give this place only a 1 star rating, but really, the bad still greatly outweighs the good here. Especially as Battle Creek has absolutely no shortage of gas stations & party store 2 in 1 deals all too similar to this place.Probably the biggest criticism, and why I even decided to do a review here is because the place, online that is, claims to be open 24 hours. This is a lie. Even before Covid-19 they were only open until 2:00 AM, now they've been closing at 12:00 midnight. And before anyone asks, yes I've been there recently. It's one of a good handful of gas stations & party stores within roughly a mile of my place. I was there day before yesterday most recently, conveniently enough for the purpose of this review I already knew when they closed and arrived just before midnight only to be told & reminded that I needed to hurry as they were closing in less than 10 minutes. Yeah, pretty odd to ever hear that from any place supposedly open 24 hours.Even accepting that maybe, just maybe, that's outdated and they'll soon update it the service itself is wildly unpredictable. Pay attention to whoever is working when you're there. Their all very moody type people, just some are far more so than others.At this point some may wonder how I even give this place 2 stars. They are in a really good location and not in the middle of either the ghetto or the hood. For those willing and capable of properly sucking up to whoever is working they ain't too far gone..............I suppose. Their prices are about as expected for a place like this. And it's surprisingly decent sized with a legit selection. you'll hardly be able to do any real grocery shopping here, but you can get a meal in a pinch with some soda, snacks, cigarettes and liquor while you fill up your tank here. Also for customer service here, I say that if you suck up to them you might be alright, that's only if you have to talk to them. If you're super simple about what you want "Give me 2 packs Newport 100's, this 6 pack and put $20 on number 4 for me please." then you should always be good. Just avoid any idle conversation at all costs. Which is actually where things turn stupid, because they'll actually engage, quite frequently too, idle conversation. What? You guys haven't yet realized that most people either don't get along with you or are just trying to do things as quickly as possible???
