My husband and I went in today and had an amazing experience Cory and Delaney were so helpful- very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail! We walked out very happy customers ? we will absolutely be back Battle Creek is very lucky to have them!

Very thankful for everyone at Rice’s! I recently purchased a new pair of work shoes and could not get the proper comfort or support needed. After a few trips for adjustments and still not having the support needed Corey and Lance allowed me to evenly exchange the shoes for a better pair of boots. Rice’s is the epitome of customer service!

If I could give zero stars I would! Worse customer service I ever received in my life. Took 15 minutes to tell me where the type of shoe I was looking for was at then all the shoes were blocked by boxes. Waited for assistance for another 10 minutes before finally taking my business elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend going here to anyone of color.

Personalized customer service with assisted foot measurements and recommendations based on your unique foot needs and desired use. All their shoes are high quality and the price is not that much more than buying lower quality big box company shoes especially considering of long they last. Very accommodating owner & staff and fun to be greeted by Ransom & Hulk!!!

If i could give a negative number i would! We had the WORST experience in Rices shoes recently.I took someone in there who had gotten a pair of shoes paid for by the HUB location for a new job he acquired. I personally witnessed him wear these $175 pair of shoes 1 time and they made his feet blister and retained moisture. He took them off that day and decided to take them back to see what his options were. From the moment we walked in there and he told the employee how they were paid for we were treated like dirt. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE was he looking for a refund of any kind he just wanted to ask what his options were and if they were going to stand by the shoes THEY fit him for. Immediately the owner stepped up and started talking over the customer and did not let him finish what he was saying. They immediately assumed that he was out for the money and a refund or a different pair of shoes if they would of just listened instead of treating us like dirt and talking over us at anything we said then maybe we could of came to resolution. ON TOP of that they then contacted HUB to tell them that one of their clients was trying to be shady!! To the owner and snotty employee if you guys would quit stereotyping people and actually listen instead of pouncing on them then maybe you would have a better understanding of why he was there! Absolutely ridiculous! My whole work buys shoes from this place and i will MOST DEFINENTLY be spreading the word at their behavior and lack of listening skills to everyone i personally know. Stand by the shoes you sell and quit judging people when you have nooooooooooo clue! I do not and will not recommend this business to any upcoming clients looking for a shoe contract location or any potential individual clients that come to me.

Disappointed in my visit today, I don't usually write reviews but this bothered me for some reason. I try to support small business, especially in Battle Creek so I went in to purchase a pair of steel toe work boots, they did not have them in stock, I asked if they would order them and they would not because, if they did not fit, they would be stuck with them??? I have ordered boots in the past from them with no issue and (so what if you're stuck with them, you sell them, its what you do). I am disappointed that they don't realize this is why on-line shopping is going to shutter their business. I ordered those same boots on Amazon for less money and they will be delivered tomorrow. Please consider changing your policy and your store is starting to look like a petting zoo. Please decide if you want to sell shoes or animalsThanks

It was a very busy day at Rice Shoe's but as always the staff was always first class and took great care of me. Can't say enough about the quality of products and most of all the staff, first class. Thanks again Rice Shoe's .
